Well done Ronnie!

We can't wait either. It's going to be a good one.

Just filled up my tanks, we are ready for a cool spell!

So that's 10 trailers and 16 people + JimJ's crew. Did I miss anybody?

I'm going to call in the catering tomorrow probably. Jump in if I missed someone.

And I did get the pavilion reserved for Saturday. We should be good to go.
Let me try this again. It jumbled it all up. Doesn't let you space it out right. Lets see if this makes more sense.

I'm not going to be able to go. David F has a 30-hour on-call shift over the weekend, and I've got some things to do for the estate I'm managing, so responsibility trumps fun this weekend. I hope y'all will have enough fun for us too!

I talked to the BBQ place in Jasper. They are calling me back tomorrow with what they recommend us to get to feed 18 people.

I told them it would be an assortment of brisket, sausage and chicken. With sides of baked beans, potato salad and cole slaw. Of course BBQ sauce, onions, pickles, and jalapenos.

How's that sound to everybody? Told her I'd pick it up about 3 or so on Saturday.

Frenchy, i'm just speechless. I'm going to go ahead and make an appointment at the repair shop for Monday. My son is definitely going to have a good time this weekend.

We're also bringing a dessert. I'm assuming that between all of us we'll have enough utensils to serve everything so we'll need plates and utensils. Everyone can handle their own drinks. Probably won't be a bad idea for me to pick up a couple gallons of tea from the BBQ place.

Unsweetened, please. I'm diabetic and never drink sweet tea. But if I'm the only one wanting unsweetened, then never mind, I'll bring my own drinks.

Talked to the BBQ place and here's what we have coming. This is what she recommended based on 18 people.
3 lbs. sausage
3 lbs. brisket
3 lbs chicken
potato salad
baked beans
cole slaw
sweet & unsweet tea
sauce, onions, pickles, jalpenos

She said total is going to be $245 so divide that by 18 people and it's $13 and some change each. Hope that sounds good to everybody.

That seems entirely reasonable to me.
