Texas Piney Woods Rally

LawChick and I are in Texarkana waiting out the bad weather and will be at the park tomorrow. Guess we better stock up the fridge in Marshall on the way in, we usually get our groceries near where we camp, but since the closest place is 15-20 miles we'll adapt! Anybody have a cage for the two rowdy grand kids we will be turning loose when we get there? Being cooped up for two days on the road has definitely brought out the Mr. Hyde side in them! I do have some rope, maybe I'll just tie them to a tree! Just kidding - I think?

I was wondering about you two today being on the road. The weather here is not bad at all. It has not rained at all. Only thing we got is lots of lighting and thunder. I hope its not to bad for yall in Texarkana.

We have a couple extra kennels you can borrow. I always tell folks there great for kids. They always give me a scared look unitl they find out our dogs are our kids.

It only rained here in Texarkana - no tornadoes or other bad winds. Looked on the weather channel that the park area got a ton of rain and maybe high winds? Not really sure, but all the bad weather will be gone by midnight according to the weather channel. Rest of week and weekend look wonderful.

We are on 59 140 miles from the campground. What is the last town on 59 or 96 with a Walmart? Don't want to pass them all.

I am SOOO jealous that Bruce and I can't make the rally. Work schedule mostly, other plans for Thanksgiving week, but mainly, the AS is still in the shop from our two-tire blow outs from September, they promised it would be ready for Blanco. Hope so.
