All we need are Airstreams, Feathercraft boats, kayaks, a pile of firewood, some musicians, a bunch of kids, lots of dogs, and.........plenty of food and drink.
Woo hoo!!! I agree with the above! I had lunch with A-Merry-Can yesterday and he told me that there was a new poll.
First of all...Alan, thanks for all you do! And I personally think it wouldn't be a party without you and your guitar! I agree with and think Sugarfoot said it best...something to the effect that whatever the masses choose, I'll live with. If I can attend, I certainly will. If not, I'll try again next event. I agree 100%. Again, I do think Alan is a key ingredient in all of this and that he and his family should definitely be there. We should dance with the one that brung us! When it didn't look like we were going to make Springstream. Ruth called night before last and got the last reservation for the Can Opener and we are looking forward to that.
We'll see some of you guys down there soon.
I have been out of the loop lately because of trying to finish a job before the holidays but finished it today so back to having a little free time. We were newbies this spring and had a great time. What ever date you choose we will be there I think, May actually sounds pretty good to me.
Just pick a date before Jan 1! I have GOT to get a spot on the water, if I'm bringing the Lil Miss Bethany again! We need to get at least one more Feathercraft there, too... Someone's gotta tow me back to the ramp when my motor dies.
Alan, you are the organizer so what you decide is what we all will live with. I know you want to accommodate as many as you can, but you can't meet everyone's schedule so, maybe, PM Kathy since she is one of the originals and co-organizers, and pick a date that works for you two and the rest will follow. There have been some that we made and some that we didn't. It'll be that way for some this time, maybe us too, but the important thing is to pick a date that you feel works for the most and go with it.

We are in Florida at Ft Desoto Campground....all I can say is wow. This place is gorgeous, well equipped and tons to do. The beach is outstanding and the many bike trailes and waterways for fishing, kayking and so on are fabulous. Here until Friday...70's and sunny

Do they have Wi-Fi or are you using an air-card?
Heard it is gorgeous. I am envious!

Neither I am using my Mom's Imac 30 miles down the road
Today we walked the beach, biked the 3 miles or so to the Fort, fished a little, and tried to rent a Kayak. I had asked yesterday about renting for today at 2:30 they told me no problem, then I got there and they were coming 3 hours early. So much for the kayaking. Sorry I did not buy one..

Alan, we saw you guys heading north on I-75 about 3:45 on 12/26 when we were on our way south. I flashed my lights and told Becki that I recognized your rig. She said it's pretty bad when you see people you know going down the road. I told her there are only so many Airstreams and only a few towed by Excursions.
Hope your New Year was great and hope you enjoyed Ft. De Soto Park.

we sure did enjoy that park...one of the best I have ever been too.
We saw a number of Airstreams, and I do remember seeing yours although we were not sure it was you..

Regina and I [Jim Rogers] will be there. We will be the new ones in the 1987 Air Stream 345. I'll call and make reservations in the next few day. What are the better sites to get. Maybe by the water? or where ever. I'll let email you and let you know what site we have.
The water sites are always great, but any site there is nice. The rows of sites are laid out mostly up hill from each other so the views are good from almost all.
