OK, I have bought my Airstream. Haven't seen it. Won't see it for another month. Assuming I can muster a tow vehicle in time I expect to have it in Georgia in May, and plan to make the SpringStream rally.
I guess I contact the campground, reserve a particular site, presumably two nights May 15 and 16, and RSVP here to get my marker on the map. Do I have that right?

Congratulations on your new Airstream! We look forward to meeting you and your new coach.
We live down in Fayetteville (20 miles south of Atlanta) and have attended the Springstream twice with our Airstream and twice before we bought our Airstream. This is a great bunch of folks to camp with and you will enjoy getting your feet wet on your maiden voyage with them.
You have the procedure right. Look forward to meeting you in May.

welcome to the group! It is always fun and though some of the faces change as the date doesn't always work for everyone, we still manage to have a great weekend.

Just jumping a head, I would like to know when the Falluminum Rally is or about when it is. I am thinking of getting a Dutch Oven - Air Stream Rally together and don't want to have it the same time as your rally.
Thanks for the info Alan. I see some of you like to drink wine. I make my own home made wine. We will throw a few extra bottles in to share with the group. Looking forward to meeting your group.
Got my flooring installed Saturday. used the trafficmaster stuff I read about ..vinyl planks. They float but have glue on the ends, when the two glued surfaces mate, they are really stuck! I made a couple of errors in placement and tried to move them it took serious effort to get the planks apart.

I am trying desperately to come up with a schedule "adjustment" at work that will let me come to Springstream. Since I am taking a vacation day, plus the whole weekend and 2 more days (to fly to Mexico for my daughter's wedding), I am gonna try for maybe a Saturday off for Springstream. Great that Brad is in though!
Nice flooring! I think it's the Home Depot "Allure" vinyl planks: was it in stock or did you order it?
I really like that material for it's ease of installation, great look, and ruggedness. It'll stand up to just about anything, and with my dogs, that's what I want to put in when it's time.
