Hi all. Full disclosure: I posted here and in other threads as cbgenrich, but have switched to Bohemian now, which is much more descriptive. If you didn't like him, you'll feel the same way about me.
I have just purchased an Airstream (unless something goes wrong with the inspection which I doubt) and I fully expect to book a slot and join the group May 15-17.
I bought a 2007 Safari 27FB SE/LS, which is in Texas, and don't yet have any tow vehicle. I won't even see the Airstream until mid April.
I've camped a fair bit in my life, but only spent a week in my sister's fifth wheel as far as RVs go. I'm planning to move to full-timing when my stick house in Atlanta sells. I'm suffering from a mild case of mid-life-crisis and "I-caught-a-case-o-cause-I-can".
I write computer software, including web sites, and ideally will spend time doing that in my Airstream and finding a way to make some money.
A bit smaller crowd than in previous years, but probably due to the date changes and all that is going on. I think we need a bail out.
"Size doesn't matter."
It's the quality of the group, not the quantity of the group and we have quality!

We just bought a 1968 Avion. We are supposed to tow it home today. We looked at it in the Georgia blizzard on Sunday!I know it's not an Airstream but at least it is not a Tag-A-Long!I am concerned about what we might discover once we get it home. It may not be ready in time for the Springstream outing, but we will make every effort to bring it.Wish us luck.
Hey Alan and ALL.............Personally, I think it's a bit early to even begin to think about bailing out. For me, I welcome this as THE excuse to "Get out of Dodge" and begin the "season". Even, if it appears to be just for a few days this year.
Soooo........Looking forward to hookin that puppy up and getting down the road.......Dennis

Yeah baby. I am happy to just get the opportunity to get the Airstream out and enjoy some outdoors.
Heading up to Lake Russell this weekend just to cruise around some.
Kristi-- good luck with your new to you Avion. They are certainly well built.

Hey Kristi,
Sally and I will be in the Avion (73 TravelCader) we purchased from a great Forum Member last November. We've become quite attached to it. We are starting the restoration of our 76 Sovereign and wanted something to use while the AS is down for 2, or so years. We'll see you all there if I ever get home.
See You There,
Kevin and Sally

I want to remind everyone again about any Raffle items they might want to bring, used, new, funny, whatever. Also food for shared brunch and dinner on Saturday as well as any wine or beer they would like to share.
Of course all of that is voluntary.....and according to individual preference.

OK, I have bought my Airstream. Haven't seen it. Won't see it for another month. Assuming I can muster a tow vehicle in time I expect to have it in Georgia in May, and plan to make the SpringStream rally.
I guess I contact the campground, reserve a particular site, presumably two nights May 15 and 16, and RSVP here to get my marker on the map. Do I have that right?
