I am trying desperately to come up with a schedule "adjustment" at work that will let me come to Springstream. Since I am taking a vacation day, plus the whole weekend and 2 more days (to fly to Mexico for my daughter's wedding), I am gonna try for maybe a Saturday off for Springstream. Great that Brad is in though!
Nice flooring! I think it's the Home Depot "Allure" vinyl planks: was it in stock or did you order it?
I really like that material for it's ease of installation, great look, and ruggedness. It'll stand up to just about anything, and with my dogs, that's what I want to put in when it's time.

Thanks, it was almost fun to put down. It is Trafficmaster, also known as Allure. I amazingly found it on EBAY, from a local source, so no shipping charge. I got 5 boxes, which will leave me some over but not too much. Oh yeah it was $1.00 a sq foot too, a lucky find for me. I had gotten the cork for my Moho on there yrs ago also.
I did the bedroom last night, took 20 minutes or so.
Found the Seamer Mate stuff I was looking for at Truevalue Hdw. So I can seal around the front side window where I have a small drip.

Hey Alan at a buck a square foot thats close to stealing it, kooks great installed too. Debbie and I are looking forward to May and getting to know everyone better, we were going to the rally at the Natural Bridge in KY but Debbie just lost her Dad and may not be up for that trip so soon but we will see you in North Georgia.
I bought a 1959 Trotwood Camper to work on and hopefully pull behind the 1955 Cameo thats getting painted now, wish I had a small old Airstream but the Trotwood will have to do for now.

I was driving around looking for Top of Georgia when I stopped at this gas stations for directions. Turned out, the guy had an old Airstream and I'm thinking about buying it from him. Somewhere between Black Rock State Park and Hellen. Maybe you've noticed it there by this gas station?

funny thing! But seriously after three or four of our rallies we passed the same RV dealer with a bunch of used trailers and stuff and a lone Airstream 30 footer or so sitting there.
Last fall it was still there after a few yrs. Poor lonely aluminum.
Love that Cameo! So its coming to Springstream? Now if we can get Glenn to tow his Allante....and A-Merry-can-- Jordan has a few nice rides at his place too.
If I could tow the Porsche behind the AS it would be a fun driver.

We'll see you at Bobby Brown State Park on April 5-7. I reserved two nights. Should I get a 3rd? I gather you can't reserve a specific spot in the GA State Parks.
Guess we just ride around and look for the Airstreams!
How about trying Whitney Houston State Park later in the year?

Bobby Brown is an awesome park. We camped there a couple of years ago with Nvestysly and happened on another forum member in our loop. A mini rally! We thought the sites in the Broadside loop were prettier than the Savannah loop. Watch the speed bumps especially if you have a low riding trailer. The last one in the Savannah loop is on a down hill. You can drag your tail very easily.
Let me know how Whitney Houston State Park turns out.

we may be the only aluminum at Bobby Brown.
Whitney's park is too noisy, there is constant singing.
Wonder why we don't have a Ray Charles State Park?

I'm taking my older son, Jordon, on a Boy Scout camp out to Apalachicola State Park this weekend and when we get back we are going as a family to Tallulah Gorge for the rest of Spring Break.
Never been to Tallulah Gorge but we are looking forward to it. We are doing the moonlight hike. Wanted to do the moonlight canoe trip, but it was full.
Anyone know anything about Tallulah Gorge?

I am looking into going to Asheville NC area in early or late June. Can anyone suggest a nice campground in that area?
Ron - glad to hear you will make it in May...

We stay at the KOA East on a regular basis. Davidson River near Brevard is nice. I've tent camped there many times, but never RV'd.

tallulah gorge sp
Love the park and the area. Hate the campground. There are some great hikes and Clayton is fantastic.
We thought the CG was far below GA State Park standards. Cramped and in disrepair. We WOULD go back.
