That was a co-worker (and Levon's brother-in-law) that Sue bought her Airstream from (and he is laughing because I won't be able to go!) If something went wrong during the graduation ceremony, my boss would have to take care of it. That would be hard from the stage! I don't think he would be very sympathic! I'm still thinking, though! I haven't given up total hope!

Every once in a while I'll get an email from Sue. Last time I heard from her she was in Colorado staying at a ski resort for the winter and having the time of her life! I wanna be just like her when I grow up!

I'm glad she is doing well. Hope she makes it back this way some day or we can make it out west to drop by and see her.

We will not be able to make the spring rally this year but I think we may try to go over and camp for a weekend in April. Was worndering if anyone else was planning an April visit.
We look forward to the rally each year and hate that we can't make it. Will try to catch the fall rally for sure!

We plan to go back to the Banker's Hour on the April 18th weekend. We have not made reservations yet.

Dudes, this is a long thread, and I can't actually find a clear statement as to the place and time of the rally. Can someone please post that?

I'm in Atlanta, and seriously considering an Airstream. I've heard that rallys are the best place to get to know the coaches and the community. I would like to make a day trip up for the rally. I look forward to meeting you all.

The location is Georgia Mountain Fair Grounds in Hiawassee, GA at Lake Chatuge. It's the weekend of May 15th-May 17th.

Please do come up for the day. We did this twice before we bought our Airstream. It's a great way to see the different models and sizes. It's also a great way to meet some great folks.

good idea! You'll see airstreams spanning 50 years at the rally. Once you bring your own, you get a cute pic of your trailer on this map! (speaking of, have I missed anyone?)

YES and yes. The sites all have a view of water and some are near the water. Most sites are level and shaded. Cable TV hookups are also on the sites.
