Why not I wondered. Maybe you're the owner? Conflict of interest? Maybe you work at the Channel 2 news and follow their (very annoying) modus operandi of leaking blurbs of info but not telling enough so (in theory) people will tune in the next news cast...

Please let us know.

Phil,

My apologies...my intentions in saying PM me were just simply not to "hijack this thread" with a discussion about favorite restaurants and working out details of trying to meet up with you guys either at campground or otherwise. Honestly wasn't trying to hold out anything. I seldom get on these forums but when I do, I see threads go rampantly off topic. The seafood restaurant I was referring to is called Atlanta Highway Seafood in Gainesville. The other restaurant I was thinking of is a great breakfast restaurant called "That Biscuit Place" in Cumming. If I don't hear from anyone about meeting up, enjoy! You guys would be right in the middle of both.

Atlanta Highway Seafood Market | Gainesville, Ga | 95% rating on Urbanspoon

That Biscuit Place's website doesn't appear to be up but here:
That Biscuit Place Cumming, GA : Food Network 98% rating on Urbanspoon

I'll look forward to seeing you soon at Springstream...we're camped near you this time.

Thanks, G

Brad and I will be there. Just made reservations for Thursday and Friday at Old Federal COE campground on Lake Lanier. There are still some spots left if you're interested!

Yeah but if you show up in one of your old rat rod trucks you'll class up the joint. Do you still have the Roadmaster?

Less than 2 weeks out-- a few small things-

Shared pot luck Brunch Saturday 9:30 ish
I will have the Espresso machine up there by 9 bring a (small) cup

Lunch on your own, Tour of Homes at 12:30...until 2 or so wander around and visit...

Pot luck dinner at 5:30ish bring a dish to share...anything goes.

Gift swap- bring one get you one-- right after dinner. Dont' go all out ...fun items or useful little things are welcomed. No one has to participate its for whoever wants to do so.
Music after dinner- might try some live music Karaoke if anyone is interested. The Not a Band will be playing for an hour or so also. For your listening and dancing pleasure.

Lets hope and pray for the typical great weather we have had in past years.

Alan,

The trailer is still at the dealership, having just been informed the parts might not be in by the 9th. It's been there a month; used twice.

Therefore, if we cannot make it, I will advise. We have F3 reserved APR 9-11.

Hope springs eternal!!!

I just can't wait, 1 week and I'll be on my way. I am looking forward to meeting new (and old) Airstream friends. I hope to share the moon shine around my campfire. (wink wink) MPJ
