Lonely and wet here at TOG. I think the host and myself are the only ones here. Looking forward to some bright shinny days at Springstream.

Rain off and on all day! We are still glad to be here! I'm hoping tomorrow will be a better day. We did go to our favorite sandwich shop in Murphy,NC for lunch and then did some antique shopping with Karen. So, today was not a total loss. See ya'll Thursday.

Ha! Just saw this. We still have the Road"monster", it's seems to be doing well as I've done a few suspension upgrades recently. The last time I drove/towed with my jalopy truck, David F. walks up to me when I arrived and advised this was a campground and that the trailer park was down the road!
No love...no love...

I have some sad news for today. We had to come back home today because my wife's father died at 2:00 am. I'll be back tomorrow.

I spent most of yesterday wiring a new 7 pin connector to the Ford. It had only a 4 pin,,
I could not get the thing to work!! Took hours of re-wiring, checking connections and fuses on both ends, and so on. Frustrating as heck.
I finally walked away , went on some errands. When I got back I thought I would disconnect a few of the wires and re-connect them.
With Shannon watching the lights for a flash--- I tried grounding in a few spots...lo and behold. Drilled a hole attached the ground and all is well. Phew! I even had stopped at Harbor Freight and purchased a portable light set. Probably a good back up for future...ahem..projects,,,,

May God rest his soul in perfect peace, and give strength to your family to bear this immense loss.

Alan, I had the same problem with my Bambi II. Bad ground. Removed the wire, took sand paper to the rusty area and reattached the wire. Bingo, had lights.

So sorry to hear of your family's loss.
On a lighter note, weather looks good for personal watercraft this weekend and unless they won't crank on the driveway, we're bringin 'em up with us. (Bring your bathing suit if ya wanna ride!) (Maybe your wetsuit)
