We will still be coming, just bringing 2 trailers instead of 3. TW and Russell were hoping to bring their camper, but have some damage. The good news is that they still may come anyway.

The grandkids have picked out the dish for Saturday breakfast and the potluck! Wonder if they are going to cook it too. Um.......

We'll see everyone Friday!

Brad, FDR looks perfect. Checked their web site and they have 55 pads open Wednesday night. $25 before discounts. Going to give them a call to double check availability. Thank you for the suggestion.

FDR is one of our favorite state parks. If you go out to dinner and you're wanting a great steak consider Hunter's Pub Hunters Pub And Steak House - Hamilton, Ga | Best Lil' Steakhouse in Georgia
You'll wonder what you're getting into when you see the outside of the place but it's our favorite down there. On weekends the lines in the parking lot are huge. You shouldn't have a problem on a Tuesday night

Nasty thunder storms currently in my neck of the Gulf Coast. Hope they move on thru by the time I leave tomorrow morning. My luck I will have them all way to Georgia. It has been one of those kinds of nasty winters/springs so far. All packed, hooked up and ready to go.

Off to work in the morning. Hope to get away around 6 in the evening and cross the border plus a few hours driving.

Airstream Polishing...wax it on, wax it off...

Brad and David,

I consider you guys great friends and I'm laughing because there is nothing you can do about it!

David, the weather appears to be warm enough for sockless travels in my docksiders...so you're off the hook.

Brad, your generous offer to make the 2 hour round trip from your house just to get my trailer hooked up is most generous and sincerely appreciated. I actually misspoke though...it wasn’t getting the trailer hooked up that I needed help with…it was the “POLISHING” I needed help with….but I know you’re happy to help with that as well. Watching a quick recap of the Karate Kid might help ...but basically polishing is so easy a cave man could do it (unless a trailer has been sanded that is).

I had seven shots in my back yesterday and got some prescription pain patches and steroids for reducing inflammation. I’m about 25% better…so I would say there is a 25% chance we will make it. How I improve today and tomorrow will tell. My plan is too get feeling a little better and focus the “roid rage” into a possible quick re-polish. (note, my wife isn't promoting this plan). Our trailer hasn’t even been washed since before the Hunting Island trip and driven through several storms.

We’ll see how it goes, as we really want to go.

Thanks again for the offers guys! It is much appreciated! G

Hey Big Al, thanks for your kind words. We sure hope we can make it...was looking forward to seeing you guys too. There's a better chance than yesterday that we'll make it. I'll bring my Canadian insulated mugs! Have a safe long journey in that twin turbo beast!

Geven, bring your polishing gear with ya and we put Dawson on it while we kick back in the lawn chairs and enjoy a beverage.

Do not care about shiny or how many meds you take. Just want to meet some of you and have a good time. Been here since Tuesday, all is well. 32 and sunny this morning, good weather for the weekend. Y'all have safe trips here, take your time and enjoy. The geese say, where are they? Jim

We had originally planned to arrive today (Thursday) but we've decided to take a roundabout route to get there so we'll arrive on Friday early afternoon.
