I wish I could remember all these posts, matching forum names with people names so that when I meet you guys I feel like I know who you are but you're all foreign when I get there! So many funny people here.

Geven I'm with the Mrs, get yourself well enough to have a good time at the rally and worry about what the trailer looks like another day.

I'm jealous of those of you who are arriving so early...man I'm gonna have to learn to tow our trailer! Have a good time and see ya'll tomorrow night. I'll be the one none of you know. haha

We're dewinterizing in our driveway later today (though it was 32º last night - hope that was winter's last gasp!) and headed over to arrive at around 3P tomorrow.

First outing and looking forward to it, albeit in an SOB!

Yes Katie & Rob, I remember you starting at the TAC rally and we were even next to each other at Falluminum. You two, I got. Btw, love your pic...you two get better looking each day.

Hmm, FastEddieB can't say we've ever met but we'll be 'across the street neighbors' at this rally...look for us, we're in B3.

We'll be in B11 with the filthy trailer and TV. Are we allowed to wash said trailer and TV at the campground?

We left GA around noon and headed to TN in order to look at a B190 for Danielle's sister on Friday morning. After that we'll head south to Hiawassee.

Driving through Franklin, NC today the tire pressure monitor sounded an alarm indicating a leaking tire on the Suburban. Sure enough... the valve stem on the right, rear was bad. After a few phone calls ( at 4:45 PM!) we found a very helpful shop that would stay late to fix our tire. I taped the valve stem (yes, duct tape was involved) to limp a few miles to the shop.

All is good for now - see you Friday.

I have duct tape in several locations on my trailer. Look for me at the rally and you will not feel so bad. 64 Avion. Having a great time, come on down. Jim

we used to call that rock n roll tape in the music business. It was used to fix almost everything at one time or another.
Looking forward to seeing you guys--- be safe

I'm a dealer now for TST tire pressure monitors and will be bringing several sets with me if anyone is interested. These are the same kind that Lucius has that picks up both air pressure differences as well as heat from separated belts, wheels bearings, brakes. All it takes is one blowout on an Airstream to wipe out some panels and cause interior damage as well. We should be there this afternoon.

Thanks, G

That whole setup is simply awesome! It's a shame that you don't know anyone with a '69 Apache Eagle that would be interested in trading so you have a matching setup (hint, hint). Of course, I'm only thinking of you guys!

I can't wait to get our Apache going!

Ha! I can't fix it up to yours and Julie's standards! My stuff is just that, "fixed up"...(zip ties and duct tape) whereas you guys restore stuff! I do admire you guy's talent!
See you after a while, we are trying to wait for new camper dishes to be delivered today before we leave. I'm going up the barn now to rig up some ladders to try to polish the roof. Hooked up and nearly ready, have to install the tire monitors.

It's called hundred-mile-an-hour tape in the Army cuz it goes so fast. We used to use it to repair everything except bullet launchers. Yer tax dollars at work.

Wish we cold be there but work got in the way. Gonna be a beautiful weekend. Y'all have a beer for us and have a great time!
