The stars have aligned
In spite of last minute work issues, we are going to make it. Finally get to say we've been to Springstream. Hope to be in mid-afternoon on Thursday. For all of you that need a sugar high, its Monkey Bread for breakfast. Sausage and cheese plate for dinner. Beer mixed in as appropriate .

I'm going to order the bathroom and kitchen exhaust vent covers, gaskets, and screens for our Argosy tomorrow. From what I've read, this is a rivet job to replace them but I don't own the tools.
Anyone have the correct tools and a willingness to provide a demo at the rally to get me started? People on top of the trailers = entertainment.
EDIT: Looks like I may have bad info on the rivets. These vents may be held in place with screws. If so, then I might just need someone to hold the ladder.

I have a rivet gun, but limited on the rivets. You are welcome to use it.
I am bringing the Cyclo and Rotary polishers too. Hoping to finally get a handle on how to bring back my super shine to the trailer.

I'll hold the ladder! I don't think my attention deficit disorder should be too big an issue...

Went to prep the trailer today and pulled the vent covers. No need for rivets, fortunately. So, no need for you to hold the ladder. Besides, it won't be raining so what fun would that be?
However, Alan should bring the rivet gun. Think of the fun that could be had with a rivet gun. An aluminum can decoration-making party, for instance. Your job would be to quench your thirst, often and more often.
You can thank me later for identifying such a fabulous use for your talent.

I just reviewed the parks website. They state 50 amp hookups. Do they also have 30 amp outlets or do I need to bring an adapter?

No worries - 30 amp outlets in abundance.

Our schedule freed up and we are able to attend Springstream.
We are torn between a century ride in GA, a century ride in AL or trying to get a site for Springstream and riding on our own.
Hubby did Brass Town Bald when we attended Falluminum. He would like another mountain training ride as he is prepping for the "Assault on Mount Mitchell" ride in May.
The two organized rides do not have the elevation that Dave could get in the North GA mountains. But will I find the flat lands that I prefer?
Well, I will be calling the campground today because an open site or lack there of will play heavy on our decision.
Wishing you all a fun rally with or without us!

Hi,
This will be Jeff and my first Rally! We will be staying on D9! Just checking in. Also, can you tell us what to expect each day and what kind of food stuff we should bring.
Thanks,
Rene Harris

I just called the campground to check if C8 is available on Thursday as well. It is, so we will be arriving a day early!
For those of you who have done this many times, I am sure it is no big deal, but for us newbies it is rather exciting.
Looking at the map, I think I picked one of the more difficult spots to back into. I may well need some help........hopefully Luckyducks will all ready be there when we arrive!

I'm Sure You'll Have a Good Time!
We'll miss seeing everyone this year. We have a conflict with Springstream weekend. Oh well... maybe Falluminum.
It looks like there is a good core of people returning as well as several new participants. Danielle and I always enjoy the music on Saturday evening - be sure to play Living In Aluminum - I can never get enough of that song.
Shannon and Alan and everyone who pull this off do a great job. I know it's a team event and everyone that participates creates part of the fun - but if there weren't somebody out there pulling it all together it would not happen. We'll see ya next time.

Not to sure about guns, but I know what they say about women and [power] tools!
Luscious, sorry we won't see you guys this weekend. I enjoyed the visit we had at the Springstream last year. Hope to see you in the fall.
