Hate those mandatory dates at school!!! They got me last spring. TJ and I will be making reservations.
Got the new moho home yesterday! It is nasty as we had to come through Virginia and it was snowing. So....as soon as I can get some pictures, I'll post them. The moho met Tinley's (grandchild) approval and Mimi (me) is so cool!
Big John, all kids welcome. Even us older ones! Tee Hee!

Waterfront Sites
We just made reservations for B5 on the water. There are still more waterfront sites available right now. Donald and I are looking forward to seeing everyone again. We missed Falluminum due to health problems. God willing, this will be a better year! Kristi

Alas, all your collective conniving plans for groveling, bribery, coercion, blackmail, the "nuclear" option, all will be of no avail. Unfortunately the WDCU Cherry Blossom Rally (our last at Roger's Farm) is scheduled for the same weekend as Springstream this year. As much as I love the Springstream, the CBR trumps all.
Love ya, miss ya! Save your efforts for Falluminum. IkeT, I know that you would NEVER let go of that fist full of bills just for a bowl of bread pudding, would you?

Just curious. What is the river road?
If it's the one past the olympic river trials site from 75 to Hayesville maybe I'll have to take the tail of the dragon again!!!

That's the one! My family always called it The River Road. It is Highway 64 from Cleveland to Copperhill, TN where the olympic river trials were held. There was a hugh rock slide back in Sept/Oct?? that shut the road down. All the rain we have had has slowed down the removal process. If it is not open, I will probably have to go down to Atlanta and over, which will add another 2 hours to an already 3 hour drive. But I'll get there! Just may have to be sick and not go to work that day!

not gonna make it
We're not going to be able to make it, either. It'll be the first time we've missed it since we started camping in our Airstream! Doh!
Pick the dates now for the fall one so I can get lakeside!! I might have to dust off the feathercraft, if the weather's nice in october....

Can't wait to see the pictures of that one!
I'm still waiting to see if my vacation request for that weekend comes thru. We'll make reservations as soon as we know (we have to submit all of our vacation for the entire in January where I work, crazy rule, eh?!).
Hope to see all of soon.

As for Fall I have an idea we will do the weekend before Halloween. This is the 22 of October.
I have not called the park to hold sites yet but it does look like a great time to do it.

I think that is the same weekend as '09...froze my shorts off on Saturday. Didn't stay at the potluck for that reason. I know the weather is iffy that time of year so it may be nice-n-cold and it may just be nice. Either way it will be nice.
If that turns out to be the long weekend for Atlanta schools, I know that we won't be able to make it. We have a standing family commitment on those weekends. Also, I think the first weekend in October is my younger son's Cub Scout "Spook-o-ree" and I'll be unavailable then. It varies from year-to-year between first and second weekend.

Hey Aviator, we are in the same neck of the woods. We live off New Hope Road in Fayetteville. We'll have to get together at the Springstream and introduce ourselves.
