Off topic, but .... since many of you come to the Can Opener Rally each January, I thought I'd mention that today is the first day you can make reservations in Reserve America for the rally (if you are arriving on Thursday or before). If arriving Friday, you have to wait until tomorrow morning at 0800 eastern time/0700 central time. Dates of rally: Friday, January 7 - Sunday, January 9, 2011.

Also CRS. I work at the Lodge factory store in Sevierville, TN. Anyone want me to bring down a Dutch Oven let me know. We have 12" 2nd in right now. They are $41.95 and firsts are $71.95. We are suppose to be getting in 10" regulars on Wednesday.
Levon get with me on Thursday of the rally and I will show you how and some things to cook in your Dutch Oven. That is if you haven't already been shown. We are on C-7
Also we will be bringing down some WINE for tasting.

On our way to Springstream, Larry and I want to stop and visit a dear cousin who lives in Cumming, GA, (n. of Atlanta) for a couple of days. Unfortunately, their driveway is not going to work for our 29 ft. trailer and van. Anyone familiar enough with that area to recommend a campground that is close by Cumming? We'd like NOT to have to drive a "fir piece" to get to and fro to visit with them. Thanks!

Cumming being near Lake Lanier has several Corps of Engineers campgrounds nearby. Jut off GA 400 is relatively close.

Lou, I have camped a few times at Bald Ridge Creek Campground (a Army Corp of Engineers campground) right by Cumming. The campground is on Lake Lanier, with probably half the sites on the water and it's very wooded. The sites are level and long and paved. We really like it.
