Avio-Toon Houseboat

Bud Seymour, whom I contacted, will be joining us in site A 45. He has constructed a houseboat that is trailerable. He used an Avion trailer that had no interior and a completely rusted frame, and the pontoons from an old pontoon boat. It will be in camp and on the water too. I look forward to seeing this one-of-a-kind houseboat.

Hmmm, I wonder if the Feathercrafts could fit inside that thing? Sort of like a water-toy-hauler?

Raffle Donation, Brunch, and Potluck

We are bringing a flamingo surprise basket for the raffle. Since no one is bringing anything flamingo related, we thought this would be a good gift. haha

We are bringing a fresh fruit bowl for brunch. Not sure yet about the potluck, maybe lasagne....or dessert...we'll see.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Gonna go out and clean the mud and hay out of and off of the TV......Problem of doing a really fantastic clean up/detail is that right now in N. Ga it is the very beginning of the heavy duty pollen season. The yellow scum grows overnight. What was bright and shiny yesterday has a coating of yellow dust.

I would really suggest that you dont plan on using your fantastic fans to much because it really pulls that stuff in..........Seems to be a heavier pollen fall this year, perhaps due to the rains we have had the last couple of months.........Anyway..........sure saves me from detailin the truck.......Personally I welcome the showers that are due Fri and Sat to knock some of this yellow out of the air.............Dennis

Hey em,

Sorry to hear you will not be there. Danielle and I were looking forward to seeing you and ms. empresely. I wanted to know more about barbecue - I've tried my hand at smoking pork shoulder, chicken, ribs and brisket recently and all turned out pretty good.

We going camping at Fort Mountain State Park over July 4th weekend. I'll make a separate thread for that or send you a PM. If anyone wants to join us at Fort Mountain we are arriving on Wed July 2.

Lucius

Hey Martin,

Sorry to hear you will not make the trip but as a “Newby” wanted to know if your site (C-6) is still available and if so, can I trade up from A-44. What is the protocol?

Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing all the talent.

Paul
