My wife (Sue) loved the Spartan! She made me go back and get interior pics. Here are some interior shots.

Also, in the A section, this Avion/pontoon boat was booked, and drove through looking for his site. This doesn't look like the same one earlier in this thread though. I thought the owner said he hadn't put it in the water yet. It looked as though he was camping in it when we drove by Monday morning.

Falluminum 2008 Thread

Thanks, Alan. The thread is at http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...gia-41270.html.

Will the plan be for the North side (like this Springstream), or the South side, like some other time? Did you get a site yet?

Hopefully, some of the back luck and coincidental timing of other events will not be so much of an issue for folks like they were for Springstream. It will be fun to see all those folks again, and maybe get the band back together. Mario and Brad know what they missed (and they'll probably come anyway!). (BTW, this pic is from Falluminum 07, with me, Ron, Brad, Mario and Alan.)

EDIT: Ok, so I didn't read it right on the Falluminum thread: "BE SURE TO MENTION THE "Georgia Airstream Campers " RALLY in section 2- the Music Hall side."

Camperski, I guess it is attached. Here is the message from Kevin who invited him.

Hey Kevin, I saw it, and thought it was a different one. He has added railings, and a front super-structure, and I see lights on the back of the Avion that I didn't see in your pic. But it must be the one!

The Avion-pontoon watercarft is one and the same. Kinda like our AS trailers, it is a project of continuous updates. The windows were cut into the sides at the front to allow for 180 degree visibility. He is considering adding rear view mirrors for more vision too. The week before Springstream was filled with adding a 3rd pontoon in the middle. When he test floated it AFTER adding the interior, the craft was too low (heavy) in the water. He plans to be back for Falluminum.

We Won a Major Award!

Danielle and I were happy to win the blue Zip Dee mat at Springstream last weekend. Special thanks to the person who donated the mat for the raffle. We used the mat immediately but we did not open our awning due to all the wind. We'll have to wait for better weather to show off the complete Zip Dee / Airstream blue package.

We loved the music, we loved the food, we loved the Avion on pontoons, we loved the Spartan, we enjoyed making and renewing friendships, we had a great time. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible.

We may not be able to make it to Falluminum due to other commitments - we'll check the calendar and let you know.

Lucius
