Even More Springstream Pics
Saturday kicked off with a bang with the fantastic potluck brunch/breakfast. Dennis and Susan were the pancake masters (with Alan supervising). The raffle immediately followed. After a tour of the trailers in the afternoon, that evening's potluck dinner was great (trust me, I suffered later from eating too much - compliments to all the chefs). Ron and Phil are talented musicians. On the last picture you need to look closely at nvestsly's license plate - Cee Ya!.

I would like to say what fun it was to meet all the great people over the weekend! The food was excellent, along with music, the meet and greet and not to mention the "Tour of Trailers" which was the best. Although, I did not have a camper with me and most you thought I was kidding about the tent thing it was a fabulous trip and will do it every time I can in the future....if I am not in jail.....aka......Bob Wire

We hated to leave , but our Pastor's retirement dinner was Sat. night, it lasted 5 hours, and was terrific. He passed the torch to his son who takes over after his dads 28 years at the helm.
Glad so many enjoyed themselves and the weather held for us.

Looks and sounds like everyone had a great time. We are so sad that we couldn't make it this year but Spring Break is always spoken for in our family. BTW, Mickey and Minnie said to say, "Hi"!
Looking forward to the next rally we can attend. It was really hard to leave our "Changes" in that storage lot in Florida, but it won't be that long before we see her again.

It was good seeing everyone again and meeting new friends. The grandbaby is ready to do it again next weekend! Too bad she fell asleep before the music started Saturday evening. But she slept for 14 hours and we were very happy!!!
I want to say thanks to the guys that helped with the awnings. TJ and I both have minimal damage, but it is fixable. We got home safely and will start on the repairs this week. For those of you who did not hear the noise Saturday evening, the wind picked up and was gusting. Right after we decided to put the awnings up, the wind put them them up for us. Right over the top of the trailers! It took 8 of us to get them down and put up right.
But, all in all, it was a great trip and fun was had by all!

I miss you guys! I couldn't make the trip due to commitments centering around my son getting married the end of April. So much to do and so little time. It looks like everyone had a great time and I enjoy the pictures.

Ditto, we are bummed we could not make Springstream. Love the pictures, though. Something beautiful about Dogwoods, Azaleas and Airstreams. Oh yes, and Feathercraft and Spartans and...

"Those weirdos down the street..."
"Those weirdos down the street..."...hey Klattu, I "represent" that remark. Remember birds of a feather flock together. That must be why we were getting funny looks on the way towing home.
Hey Camperski, the 1950 Spartan belongs to our friends Bill and Cynthia Warren. We met them in 2005 at a vintage trailer get-together at Fort Wilderness park at Disney. Bill has owned at least one nice (and polished)Airstream too but that Spartan takes the cake of anything I've seen. Our friends David and Julie did most of the restoration work on that trailer. If there aren't any photos posted of the interior, let me know and I'll send you some. that trailer is simply incredible! Ruth and I, David and Julie and Bill and Cynthia are going to meet up in a couple of months and go camping at a place that they know about in South Carolina that is real nice. Let me know if you want to meet us as well. I don't recall the name of the campground but they said it is real nice. Bill and Cythina are great folks!
Geven
Thanks, Geven

I didn't get to attend so I'd enjoy seeing some photos of the interior plus any additional exterior photos posted here on the airforums.com.

October "Falluminum" will be the last weekend before Halloween, once I check the park schedule if that is good for most folks

(I screwed up the quote HTML flags, but this is from Alan).
That is as good a time as any, I suppose. Please let us know what the park has to say. We will of course like to use the pavilion too, and brunch worked out great! Thanks to those who worked at the griddles!

Love to see photos, meet up with you guys etc. My Spartan is on hold while the shop goes under construction. Be able to pull 2 30+ footers in and work. Scott still has his 53 and is working on a 50 Manor making a front kitchen using the interior from a 50 Star.

the park is good for the weekend before Halloween. That would be the 24- 25th. My only issue is I will just be getting back from Israel, but it may be fine anyway.
I am ready to start booking a site.....
Geven- let me know when the Bill and Cynthia campout if is in June or July, we could possibly go too. We are free after June 21st and could meet up.
I would love to go to the SC or NC coast.... Keep us posted
