If I can get it it together I'll be there.

If that is VA Beach to Atlanta is 527 miles, the VA Beach to Hiawasee would be a lot less. Probably 120-125 miles less, maybe.

BTW, satellite reception isn't doable because of the trees.

Anybody that rides motorcycles, especially sport or sport touring bikes, that area is phenomenal for riding. 68 up into NC. and then 129 north all the way into TN. via deals gap is some of the best sport bike riding in the country. I might see if I can make that ralley and bring my VFR along with me.

that route is awesome. I pulled our 31 foot Airstream over that same route last year on the way to the rally. Of course on the map it looks like a nice red line from Knoxville to Hiawassee. Now I know what it is really like.
Glad I chose that road.

You pulled your 31 footer over the Dragon ( hwy 129 going from TN. across NC> line)??? I bet that was fun, 318 curves in 11 miles, it's the curviest road in the world for the mileage. Did you have any sport bikes and their riders inside your trailor when you got to the end. That had to prove quite a challenge for the sport riders to pass that big silver missle and not get tagged by oncoming traffic. Do you ride?

We had a great time at Falluminum! Unfortunately we will be in Panama City for Spring Break the weak you have scheduled. It is a long way back to Augusta by a much more direct route.

Sounds like we will miss the party.

Count me in for the Springstream 2008 too. As far as sites, go to this link to the campground map and look at Area 2. In 2007 we went for sites B through F on the northern part of the campground. I'm guessing that would be the game plan for 2008.

We are counting our numbers, and seeing what new piece of history might be ready for a trip

Come on Brad, get your priorities straight!

You can't dog us on this one! What do you expect us to do, use an electric drum machine?

And now we'll have to import another movie theater!!
