But the one we currently have is so perfect for our family how could we find another that would fill our temporary void?

So... when do you consider courtesy parking to have become courtesy storage?

Isn't there some old saying about overnight guest and dead fish? Or was it something else, any way, after three days they both begin to stink!

Yes, but then the grass wouldn't grow back. Part of the reason for putting our beloved "Changes" in storage is for the grass to grow back this spring. We are planning to put our house on the market next month and I will be sowing grass seed in a few weeks to fill in where the Airstream shaded the grass. However, the driveway sure does look empty.

Besides, our next trip is planned for Spring Break and the storage facility is only about an hour from our destination so we can just pack our necessities and perishables and hit the road. We will make better time without the trailer in tow and get better fuel economy going and coming. It will take less time to hitch up than the amount of time we will save by not having the trailer in tow. So it will make for a better/faster drive down.

Major suckage

Wow. What a bad deal mother nature laid on you! We only had one intense and brief gust this morning.

Any chance that damage can be properly repaired?

Alan, those photos makes me sick at heart for you and Shannon. Thank goodness no one was hurt.

The only thing I know about State Farm is that I was told a total loss claim would be based on the current market value for an indentical vintage coach in the same condition prior to the claim. I pray that they will treat you right.
