Investments dividends will be paid on Silver and other precious metals, not on fiberglass.

I didn't take many pics, but here are a few: Smokeless Joe's unique Argosy rig, the Airstream "funeral coach" (note special door near rear), the "not really a band" band, and some smiling faces.

A few more. The 1952 Spartanette was a big crowd pleaser.

Jerry,
I tried finding more recent pictures, but check out a previous post (#53) on this thread... http://www.airforums.com/forums/f448...a-13986-4.html. Works like a champ getting the generator into the bed of my truck (I don't take the stand with me traveling). Once I get the generator into the bed of the truck, it never moves - just run it from the back of my truck.

It looked like there were a few more Caffe Rel converts this weekend - great restaurant up in Franklin, NC.
I think this is the first rally where I did not take a single picture. Thanks for those who did!

Alan and Shannon thank you so much for the great rally. Amazing! It was my first time to a rally and can't wait for the next chance to go to the next one. Y'all can really put on a show. Thank you again for all the time and energy y'all put in to the fun filled weekend.
Dan.

Great Rally
What a great weekend! Even our daughter had a good time hanging with the old folks!
Thanks to Alan, and the crew, for hosting another fine rally.
I was a bit lazy this weekend with my photography......spent too much time socializing. I did manage to put together a five-minute video from the small amount that I shot. Hope you enjoy it (apologies to the "A" Section....never made it up the hill).

Question about one of the units
I had a great time looking at all the different units. I went through them too fast to get back to mine so my wife could see some interior decorating that I didn't ask enough questions. Would some one help me with a strange question. The couple that had the beautiful motor home that had the hearst option, the rear door please give me a little background on the type of motor home and option,It,s reasons, how many are still in use and any thing else about your special Airstream. I wish now I had taken the time to learn more. I find this unit very special and interesting.

The gold 1982 FFC (Family Funeral Coach) was ordered from the factory with the rear compartment of the Funeral Coach and everything forward of that is a regular motorhome. The VIN plate near the driver's seat actually designates it as a Funeral Coach!
It has the large rear door on the passenger side for the Casket that opens to the side, and the rear clam shell opening window/tailgate for the flowers. It does not look like it had the driver's side large door that opened vertically. That area has been converted into the bedroom, and it currently houses a queen size mattress.
I have a reasonable amount of paperwork with it and called and spoke to someone at the funeral home in CA that remembered using it to transport family members with the casket from the service to the cemetary.
I have a few pictures here, but they are from when I first got it a little over 3 years ago. Photo Gallery I have since been upgrading and improving the motorhome, and plan to do the same with the website!
I have just started offering it for sale and have a little more work before I start listing it, but in general it is a solid working motorhome.
I must say I am surprised at the special attention at Airstream events due to its special build purpose! I have at least one request for my friend to be transported in it if the time actually comes!

Great video, Chief! Our crew had a great time as usual. Thanks to Alan and Shannon for all the organization! Thanks also to everyone for opening up your rigs so we can tour. Saw some very nice units and got some great ideas!
A special thanks to Shannon for letting Tinley help with the raffle. She was so proud of herself!
