Just in case you are unable to understand Tom's dish, he is bringing knockwurst and saurkraut. Knockwurst is a fat hot dog with spices. Tom will also be making german potato salad. I guess if he can build a dinette he can follow a recipe.
On the other hand I will be bringing Italian sausage, sweet peppers and the buns. My side will be some type of dessert.
See everyone soon.
Tom and Sue

Tom; I saw where you got the new tires for the AS. Would have hated to see you changing flats on the way to Pecatonica.
As for food for the event, being half Swede, I'll bring Swedish meatballs cooked in a Dutch oven. Mom's side of the house was German, Dutch, English and IRISH. Does that make me Heinz 57?
Come on people; let us know if you are coming. There are 5 units committed and 4 more possibles. We are NOT a select group, just some that get together for food and fellowship and fixin' Airstreams (late model and vintage).
If you are interested, reply to this blog and we would be glad to meet you. No age limits and NO DUES. If you are a SOB and interested in Airstreams come check us out.

Thanks Mike and Dana for posting the dish you will be bringing to the rally. Any idea for your side dish?
Any one coming as Mike stated please read the thread on the main dish and post what you will be bringing. The get together is open to all. Hope to see old friends and make some new friends.
Welcome to the newest and youngest airstream member Paden Domek, the son of one of our newest members from last year Cale and Amy.
Safe trip to all,see everyone soon. Let's hope for warmer weather and no rain.

Congrats to Cale and Amy on the baby boy!
We will be at camp Thursday afternoon, but will be leaving EARLY Sunday morning to get to church for Cody and Emily's confirmation day.
Due to the Ill name being French, we will bring pork loin with Dijon mustard sauce, and for dessert...chocolate mousse.
Lori and Tedd

Looks like we’re all working to get ready.
The dinette benches are almost completely installed. Didn’t get the tambour or new flooring put in though. I’ve fixed the inevitably post winter water leak. Everything else seems to work.
Probably finish up the dinette end panels tonight.
This whole working for a living thing really cuts into the time needed for trailer repair and rehab.
We’ll load up the truck tomorrow and try to hit the road by 10:00.
I really, really need to get out and do some camping.
See you soon.

I know what you mean. I tried working for a living but didn't like it. If it wasn't for the paycheck, I doubt whether I would have even tried it. Good luck in getting everything ship shape and ready to go.

Pecatonica Pollen Palooza
Another Spring Gathering is done and as usual everyone enjoyed themselves. The trips to Freeport and Rockford. The trails and the turkeys. Campfires and conversations. And of course the food combined for a fine weekend.
Even though we were displaced from our usual spot on the North end of the loop by the Rocky Rollers, the South end under the trees offered it’s own sights. Pollen!
The sight of huge clouds of yellow evergreen pollen was a first for many of us. Airtandem said something about living in a Yellow Submarine.
Yesterday, at 87 degrees, without air was the only rough spot. OK, that and the 'skeeters.
Thanks to all for coming and putting in all the effort into the potluck on Saturday.
Keep an eye out for details about the October meet on the Rally page.
See you soon. Have a great summer.
Tom and Sue.
