Spring Brunch in Northern Illinois

We’re back again for our annual spring gathering in Pecatonica.
We’ll shake out the winter dust and cobwebs from our rigs and have a Spring reunion the last weekend of May, Fri 29 through Sunday the 31st.
We’re planning a Sunday morning brunch and a pot luck on Saturday night.

I'm watching the weather today.. it's supposed to be spring.. but we're expecting 4 inches of snow!

We certainly will TRY to attend the rally, depending on the minute/day/week/month/years malfunctions!

We will, at the very least, run out there and yell yoo-hoo.

OK I'm throwing my hat in the ring. It will be an interesting weekend!!! This will, with out a doubt, be the last trip for the old gal. I will have to start the tear down once we are home.
The car is in the shop to get all of the bits and pieces taken care of. So we will see ya'll there.
The plan is to get out there early Friday morning. We will have to boggy early Sunday.

Glad to see your going to make it. I have got to get my new (to me) aluminum propane bottles fitted with the new valves, serviced, and installed and work on my tow vehicle as well (oil change and brakes...)

Tom, I got you message. Thanks, were looking forward to this as well. I will keep an eye out for the food sign up sheets, when you start to circulate them.

Well, we’re about a month away from the Spring Rally. Good thing the weather is finally getting better for outside work.

I’m working on getting the awning mechanicals reconditioned to get ready for the new fabric.
We’ll be arriving early Friday. Sue says she’ll bring a bunch of kosher hot dogs and buns for a Friday night wienie roast.
We’re open for a potluck dinner on Saturday night. Bring your own meat and a dish to pass.

Well we are only 27 days away from our spring gathering in Pecatonica. I will be bringing hot dogs and buns for those arriving Friday for dinner. Saturday will be our potluck dinner at 6:00.Be sure to have your main dish cooked and have a dish to pass.We will be needing salads, appetizers, vegetables ,desserts. I will be bringing banana trifle and some sort of salad. Please post as soon as you know what you will be bringing. Looking forward to seeing old friends as well as meet new. Safe trip to all. Yesterday was a big day here. We’ve acquired a new trailer!
After 2 years of searching we finally found the right combo of model, location and price we were looking for, a 1972 Tradewind Double.
After being used as a weekend get-away in Door County it’s getting a good cleaning. The interior is original and in good condition.
We’re planning on bringing it to the Gathering and looking for all your ideas on decorating and restoration. With the help of our Forum friends we can return it to its former glory, maybe even better.

Lori and I are still working out the details on camping let alone food..... Got the univolt apart and have tracked down the problems with it....

The Holmbergs are considering travelling up to Wisconsin the weekend before this rally for a big farm sale. (buying for the shop)

We are considering (not committed yet) taking the box truck, tow vehicle, Airstream, 3 Jack Russells and Eric.

I'm not a big drinker.. BUT....
