I go to sea and get left out of everything....... "Hey, looks like he has lost the internet in the out there - LET'S PLAN A RALLY" - That's ok, I have you all figured out........
Too many posts to catch up - someone give me the short version.

Yeah, what Terry said.
Now first thing in the morning get on the phone and call 706-643-7737. Tell the man you're one of those "Airstream people". He knows who we all are, trust me. Tell him you've just got to have a spot.
BTW, Clancy Boy, welcome back from sea! What happened to you out there, did they take your internet away?

Believe me, what happens at sea, stays at sea.
Start asking questions like this and before you know it, Brad will be sharing all his "kayak camp" stories.....

Brad, I nearly gave myself a migraine trying to read that map before I scrolled down and saw the list!
You have us down on site 5 but we are on 46. We just got back yesterday from a "scouting weekend" and we stayed on site 5 then and so we must be on 46 for the rally.
Welcome home Mike, pack up the Missus and head on over for the rally. There's plenty of room.
However, beware folks, it is a long, long way to the dump station so use that gray water management wisely!

Give 'em a call. They are friendly and helpful, even to us "nutty Airstream people"...

Hey Nilesrob,
The summer "thang" rally sounds like the convergence of a lot of a great ideas. A ralley at an nice inexpensive camping location, while the water is warm, when the weather is cool, and in-between major college football games.
Debby and I have reserved site number 7, a drive through site on the water, from the 10th through the 13th.
We are looking forward to it.

Not surprisingly, this rally will be a blast...
Beautiful scenery, great people, tall stories, good food, cold beer, more cold beer - AND it is conveniently located between Kiln, MS and Martinez, GA. No excuses.
The more the merrier! Call now - operators are standing by.

#11 is reserved for H. Ellis. Local friends of ours who happen to be long time Airstream owners.

Boy, this is really shaping up! This needs to be a regular summer event now. While I was there over the weekend, there was a sign that said "Open in April". When I checked in, I asked the nice camp ground host which weekend in April they would re-open and she said "they" were talking about opening in March next year. They must be getting request for earlier dates.

Musicians?
Hmmmmm.... April.... how about the Redneck Rondayvoo? Maybe we can entice ($$$ and beer) Martin to do a little BBQ session - marry some meat and smoke?
For the tHANG, do we have any musicians? Alan asked me if we had any music planned, and I really hadn't thought about it. I do have the pavillion reserved for Saturday, so there is cover and power. Alan plays guitar, I play drums - can we entice some more players??

I do not know how I missed this thread all summer. I guess I wasn't on here enough, and the portal had too much other traffic...
I will be checking my department calendar at work tomorrow for conflicts before I can even ask for the weekend off (working in retail has it's downsides...weekends are busy!). I claim to play guitar, and would love to be there for the rally and play some too.
I can bring my accordian for Alan to play also...I haven't mastered it...

One question. Does anybody play the bagpipes? And how do you know when they are out of tune?

Do you know why bagpipers always walk while they play?
To get away from the noise...
