Sorry, I guess I took things for granted.

It is in the blue bar at the top of the page and will take you to the rally page where you select the month at the bottom of the page in the pull down menu. THEN, you go to the date and click on the link...or something like that.

WooHOO, Minnie's Mate! Looks like you're official now. It will be good to see you again. This little "Thang" is growing.

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing every body again. I was sorry to miss the Springstream this year and am glad someone came up with a rally before November.

Well, hopefully not THAT remote. I just got a notice from the campground that I've been "regretfully" moved from site #6 to site #2. No explanation why and I hope it's still a shaded site. Tom, now we're almost neighbors.

Most bizarre you were moved, and now a little diconcverting since we thought you were our neighbor! Whatever...

Anyway, I don't think you need to be concerned about site #2.

Yay, someone to keep us company!!

We've been out of town this week so I just got back to catch up on this thread. Hope everybody had a great 4th and was able to catch some nice fireworks where ever you spent it.

I'm just catching up too. My 4th was great! Spent the weekend with Lucius and Danielle (nvestysly) at Fort Mountain State Park near Chatsworth, GA. Hopefully, with a little more encouragement they will find a way to join us at this little "End-of-Summer-Thang" for at least part of a day. No pressure!

BTW Brad, is there swimming at either the campground area or the day site? GA Power's website says that some of their parks have roped-off swimming areas or can you just jump in anywhere?

I think they advise swinging from the power lines to enter the water. You know, "something different".

After reading Brad's glowing description I just reserved site #5 for the weekend of August 1st! If it's as nice as he says, it will be great for next spring when they reopen because it's only about 80 miles from our house.

If anyone has one of those trapeze devices, we should be able to glide on the power lines - sort of pretend like we're in Costa Rica on those high wire gizmos. I think this event has potential.

When we were there a few weeks ago, people were swimming from wherever they were camped. Don't forget - for any of you with boats there is a boat ramp not 100 yeards from the campsites, and there are all kinds of places to tie the boats up near where you are camped.
