Another Airstream

Site 11 has been reserved for some Airstream friends who are not yet members of the forum.

Note on reservations:
GA. Power's reservation software holds your date(s) for 14 days. If payment has not arrived those dates go back into the "available" status.

Yup, my bad. I thought they said 14 days from the reservation date. That's why I can no longer be trusted with such high levels of responsibility. Please no sharp objects...

Danielle and I are definitely going to Tampa for the South Florida game. I'm working on plans that may allow us to stop by the campground on Saturday afternoon/evening. We'll keep you posted.

It's difficult to get any work done with so many opportunities to camp with you fine people. Mark me down for site #47. The man answering the phone said "You must have one of those AS trailers."

A wee bit off topic, but is anyone watching this Celtics game? Wow!

Out of curiosity I went back and read this thread and was completely baffled when I came across this post. Now I know we don't know each other but when I'm not out fixing people's houses, I'm helping them fix their other problems. Now this delima sounds simple to fix, go camping in your Airstream at this event and simply watch the games on TV, everybody knows you get better coverage of the game watching it on TV than by being there, plus you save a bunch of money!! Money that could be put to better use by putting it into your Airstream!! See that! I just fixed another problem and it didn't cost anyone any money!!

Let's do the math...

Folding chairs in the shade, lakeside, with a cold beer, good company, by a campfire and TV watching the game...

Bleacher seats, hot sun, surrounded by strangers...

I'm going to have to talk to the Missus about this one. This is less than 1-1/2 hours from our house and we have been looking for something in the area. The photos sure do look good. I could come home from work, hook up and be there by 8:00. Should still be a little day lite by then.

What kind of hook-ups do they have? No cable I take it.

Tom, great if you can make it!

Yup, water and electric, dump station on exit.

So right now it seems we have folks from TN, GA, NC and possibly FL (thongs optional). Adventorous souls from AL, SC, MS - and beyond - welcomed!

I just reserved site #46. On the water but a little remote...which might be a good thing with my two battling boys and cocker spaniel!

I'd be glad to pitch in toward renting the pavilion. Course I might need to take my golf cart to haul everything from our site to the pavilion at pot-luck time (assuming we are going to have one, of course that's up to Brad since he is the organizer (not meaning to be out of line here)).

The man that answered the phone asked if I was part of the Airstream group and said they have quite a few signed up. I checked the rally page at the top in the blue bar and so far only five (5) have registered with the Rally Calendar. So who else hasn't registered? Go to the rally calendar and let us know for sure you are coming.

For those signing up for their first rally; the link Tom speaks of is not the easiest thang to find...
