My default position in these matters: When mama's happy, everybody's happy.

Maybe . . . . Or, if you can possibly make enough room on that grilling machine, I might sneak a couple pieces of vege-soy chicken on rack. Em, can you throw a dab of that special secret BBQ sauce my way? I promise I won't let any of those soy cooties touch the real stuff.

I'm tossing and turning - I can't sleep at night - this is really tearing me up. Danielle and I have long been planning a road trip to Tampa to see the USF Bulls play Kansas in Raymond James Stadium but this camping outing is creating a conflict.

I'm trying to figure out how to do both. The game is on Friday evening in Tampa. We could stay at a hotel (or campground) north of Tampa and leave early in the morning on Saturday. That might put us back in Georgia at the campground by mid afternoon on Saturday. That sounds like too much driving but I might be able to make it work.

Danielle thinks (er knows) I'm crazy but now there's BBQ in the picture. What's a guy to do?

We have satellite TV - you could pretend you are at USF tailgating - but actually be remote at Blanton watching the game... We won't tell.

I think we can help with your decision...
Sweetwater Brewing has a variety called Roadtrip.
If your roadtrip is limited to the rally; you could save enough $$ to keep all of us Roadtrip happy for three days.

There ya go!

You know you would miss us. You'll be in those crowded not-so-comfy stadium seats getting sticky soda slopped on you by the kid behind you, and thinking about us the whole time.

All right - dare I sweeten the pot? Up for grabs to one lucky winner at our "thang" - can I get a drum roll please - and not to be sexist - and not to imply you folks are handicapped in backing up a trailer...

The book that everyone covets...

Say it with flowers

Special delivery for the rally organizer.

Thanks for finding the new rally spot.

Actually... shamelessly looking for additions to my new "friends" list.

I will ask the boss about this rally.

Perhaps, we'll have a "new" TV by then to show off. Or I will have fixed the current TV. Depends if I can get a loan from the BOA (Bank of Anne).

I am nervous about "triangulating" down that way. One wrong turn and you can easily end up in "Booger Bottom".

STOP CHOKING THOSE FLOWERS! LessMundane... less Filling... Miller Lite.

We'll save Booger Bottom for next time... if we light up our AS's we can make them look like UFO's! I'm thinking Roswell... Area 51... Warm Springs...

My family is from the Warm Springs area. I've been hearing about "lights in the sky", boogers and haints all my life. Most folks down there just take it all in stride. Keeps the tourists coming back.

Time out for important announcement

I had forgotten to send my reservation check as instructed by the park official.
Just called and the person was surprised our reservations were still in the system because no checks have arrived for any of our group.
If you called and made a reservation, send them a check asap.
The address & phone no. is in Brad's opening post. Might not be a bad idea to call again & let them know your "check is in the mail".

Thanks, Em. I'm guilty too. I'll get it in the mail and give them a call.

Now what's this about "lites" and "haint's" and "boogers" and all that . . . . Some kind of X-files thing goin' on around Warm Springs?

It's the Hollers you need to avoid but the nearest "Bugger Holler" is near Pine Mountain. And... that's near Hamilton which is where Brad's new "cabin" is located.
And... you can hear him holler every time I get another beer out of the frig!
