Well, please have a good time, and post lots of pics!
Phil, I'm sorry to hear that. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Falluminum.

too bad, because the metrics indicate also that all interested Airstreamers should be able to do as they please. But such is life.....

Metrics. We don't need no stinkin' metrics.

Shame you won't make it Phil. I'll miss Gus, too.

"They" have been trying to force metrics on us since the '60's and it still hasn't caught on. Don't they get it. We won't ever switch over to kilograms and centimeters!

I hope all you airstreamers had a good time. My wife and I decided to camp at Hard Labor Creek in Rutledge Georgia. It is only 45 minutes from my house and it is all country driving except for a 5 minute hop on Interstate 20. It was our first time camping at a State Park with water, electric, and cable TV hook up. It was nice.

By the time we both got home from work and got the airstream hooked up and the dogs in the truck it was already getting dark. I arrived at Hard labor around 9 P.M.

The thing I discovered was how comfortable the airstream is. I slept really hard and took many naps. I am ready to go again. It was nice to get away and decompress.

OK - I'm calling tomarrow - Tina and I would like to join in.

Do I need to bring anything?

Looks like this will be the first rally for Clancy Boy and Boudreaux - our big dogs - 12.5 and 10.5 years old. It may be their only rally.

Michael,

Totally awesome you guys can make it! You don't need to bring anything but your smiling faces. Low key event - we've got the pavillian reserved for Saturday, and Saturday evening we'll do some kind of potluck dinner. We'll have our canoe in case you want to take the "boys" out for a paddle...

Mike,
We all love Brad, but his advice is often less than sage. In this case it is beyond belief. None of us will benefit from your bringing nothing!

You should see how much of your local grocery will fit (cram) into the Airstream. The back of the truck should be saved for Sam Adams.
Then come on over. We will be waiting with open hands.

Cheers,
m.

ps In case you are overloaded... drive carefully.

Mike, it will be great to see you and Tina again. Glad you all will be able to make it. Like Martin said, bring more than your smile...remember, there will be children present.

Also, my wife wanted me to take a look at your pantry organization. She is big on pantries and big on organization! I didn't get a chance to check it out at the Can Opener this past January.
