Awesome! Now all I have to do is get it to RUN again! I had the same issue with the fly wheel spinning off the crank. THis time, I'm redoing it all with a nylock nut!

I am hoping to buy a pontoon this winter...and a trailer to pull it on. Something smaller like 20' or less.

Better late than never. It will be great to see you and Julie again, and I still haven't seen the youngest addition yet.

It might be a hike from site 25, don't know, but the campground host told me there is a dock in front of site 2 where we are. You are more than welcome to tie up the Feathercraft in front of our house.

The hike from site 25 to the dock at site 2 is all of about 100 feet. The picture below shows the docks at or around sites 2 and 7/8/9 ish. Should be perfect!

Hey D!

We're all looking forward to it! Here's a pic of lil Ethan from our recent Blue Ridge Parkway trip. He's AWESOME! much more laid back than his big sister! ha!

I guess I have no excuse BUT to get that boat running, then, eh? I might get my hands dirty this evening, in fact.

It is a long trip from Martinez, but my 14 year old (daughter) and 16 year old (son) may be talked into it. Your 16 year old met them last fall.

No teenagers here - our son is in an all-day band practice on Saturday.

For anyone interested, I will coordinate a golf outing for Saturday morning. There are a number of courses in the area, all kinds, all prices - whatever anyone has an interest. One suggestion would be Roosevelt Memorial Golf Course in Warm Springs, which is a 9 hole course in average shape, but only runs about $25 with cart. Maybe lunch in Warm Springs afterwards.

For those of you looking for something Saturday morning as an alternative, there is Calloway Gardens(http://www.callawaygardens.com/callaway/info/things.aspx) - maybe a 20-30 minute ride from the campground, but tons of activities - gorgeous walking or biking paths, just a ton of neat stuff. My wife suggests the Rose Cottage Tea Room (http://www.rosecottagega.com/contact.html) in Pine Mountain - highly recommended.

Just a few ideas...

If y'all want some great Southern cookin', try the Bulloch House. Mac's BBQ, about 200 yards down the street from the Bulloch House, has some of the best I've ever eaten. Heaven for a southern boy.

P.S. My dad was raised on a farm just about 1.5 miles up the road from "downtown" Warm Springs. I spent many a summer roaming those woods as a kid. Y'all are gonna enjoy this weekend. Wish we could join you.

Jim

Nope. I tried, but cannot get the Friday and Saturday off because something to the effect of "metrics indicate a 90% Associate rate is required to meet customer needs". So, no more than five people off each weekend day (in addition to the people already normally off). Now I'm worried about Falluminum!

Well, please have a good time, and post lots of pics!

Ate at the Bulloch House not two weeks ago for the first time, and while ordinarily I am not a big fan of a buffet, I had a most awesome meal - really great! Would go back in a heartbeat.
