The guy from the park called me to verify my site (44) today, and he was very friendly, professional and helpful.

Hmm...sounds like I might need another place to stay. Anyone have room for me and a cat? I think the dogs can fend for themselves.

Harris & Talbot Co. area
The lake should be full & everything green.
We emptied 4” out of the rain gauge at 8pm yesterday and it was still raining.

It's starting to look like a staging area for the rally around here. Currently there are 4 Airstreams, and an Avion passed through a couple of nights ago. One nearly new Safari with a late-model Tundra for a tow vehicle, a '77 Tradewind, our '74 Sovereign, and a '78 Sovereign that hasn't turned a wheel since before we got here.

We're bringing our boat, too. Thank goodness I got the diesel instead of the gas F250 - never would have been able to pull this bad boy otherwise.

She's riding high. I guess all the equipment and personnel were off-loaded somewhere else.
Fully loaded, you'd need an 350 Dually.
I can only imagine the captain being something like this:

The "Thang" is just around the corner
We were planning on coming in on Tuesday but it may be a day or two later now. It all depends on how quickly I can rework my black & gray dump valve set up. It's in pieces at this point up to the old gate valve, but I have help! (I need it, trust me ) A Sunday project for a very good friend and myself. He probably doesn't know what he's getting into. Hopefully I'll be back in order and will find find some sheet aluminum to replace the old panel on the belly pan.
Looking forward to a great time.

I got a water pump that needs to be changed, in fact, it's the same one that I changed 10k miles ago. What's yer price?
Bummer y'all can't come up this way. Maybe next time 'round. Maybe WE can actually get to a rally and meet you guys so I can properly thank you in person for all the tips you've given me over the millennia, er, I mean years.

If it's the one on the F 150, about $75, plus mileage...

Bummed, bummed, bummed. Don't tell Terry. It's not his fault, but I'm thinking the guy that does the schedules needs to be whupped!!!!
Does anyone want a site that's paid for?

You got it. It's the one I put the new engine in last year. I changed the water pump, which was perfectly fine "because I had the engine out, you know, just in case". Yeah, right. Why can't I get the concept "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?
