WOW Carol! You are SOOO beautiful in that picture! The sleeves of your dress are too cool - and that haircut!
These wedding photos are a lot of fun. I actually like the big hair! (Laura probably already knows this..)
Shari your bridesmaids' dresses look so sylvan and ethereal!
I gotta take some tips from you, Sharon - you know how to pick em & to teach em. I am cracking up about your hat though..! I got a little use out of my prom dress, which is in the same boat. It's nice, I designed it from scratch and had someone custom sew it - so I don't want to just give it away! So a friend of mine had an annual Prom Day where we'd go to the grocery store, K-Mart and all of these mundane public places in our prom garb One time we drug the boyfriends along, but neither would wear a tux!! Obviously, they weren't keepers!
Laura I see you posted your neon flamingo!! Looking good! And I already told you how sexy your hair looks short, but of course a lady can never hear enough of that sort of thing
No wedding photos from me - the boys around here know better

I think Carol looks " Twiggy-ish" very cool & stylish with that dreamy gaze ~ and Paula...another "small wedding party" huh?! Very traditional & I see you have the proverbial "pink" ribbons too. Looking...good!
They're all fun and show from where we've come ~ how different mine would be 27 years later! It'd be more what I wanted than what my mom thought we should have...that's for sure! Big italian family equaled big wedding. Back then, I wanted the two of us, a couple of friends, barefoot on the beach...today, probably not much different, but there would definately be Airstreams involved!

You said it Shari!

The bridesmaids gowns were a la pale pastel violet and white flowers or pale pastel green w/white flowers..back then when I was learning to be 'domesticated' I sewed the jr.ette and flower girl's dresses as well as my own wedding gown..
They're all fun and show from where we've come ~ how different mine would be 27 years later! It'd be more what I wanted than what my mom thought we should have...that's for sure!

We probably would have had a much smaller wedding too, the wedding and reception dinner was really a wedding event for our parents, and relatives and cousins, etc and acquaintances hubby and I didn't even know!!..I probably would have gone for the flower wreath in my hair..I know Steve would have been just as happy showing up in his 501's and tennies

Chunky shoe and pink online rally... MMMMM good biscotti and hot tea Paula. Thanks.
Paula I love the drape and cut of your wedding dress. Another beautiful bride and wedding party! Wedding cake and garter picture is pure bonus. Some day gals we will all meet and you MUST bring the reception video and/or pictures. What a blast that would be!
Laura have fun in Florida and soak up that sunshine and it looks like we may see some airshow pictures soon.
Brock you don't get off that easy, no exemptions, picture, picture, poster's choice.

Hi Carol, You're quite welcome for the biscotti!..I'm gonna start experimenting w/the flavors of the biscotti..next go around will be almond, or orange, or coconut or even rum flavored biscotti!! hmm, maybe even kahlua

Thnx on the dress!!..the empire waist was one of the styles that year, and the train was fun to make, thnk I bought about an extra five yards of the brocade and lining..and that garter pic was edited for content for sure!!
That's a super idea: everyone bring pix and/or videos of their wedding reception!!..today's weddings include the slide/video shows that are so popular and a great memory maker!

Ok here you go. I couldn't do a thing with my hair. My nail polish was still wet. Doesn't Dave look young? Well those nice guests came to help with the unity candle too, but I felt we should forgo that and just leave town as soon as possible--.
