Your life will change! You are now better looking and your wisdom will be adored by others. Children and pets will obey you and Mrs. Slowolf will be unable to resist you. You ARE the Rivet Master.
Use your new power wisely.

I am deeply humbled. My newly acquired power will be used only for the benefit of good and I vow never to venture to the dark side. May the farce be with you.

Bad News
Uwe can't make it. He is under a deadline for his business.
So we have an empty space to fill.

Darn, I was looking forward to meeting Uwe and seeing his 63. I have pictures of my trailer next to his previous trailer from a trip he took with the PO of my trailer. I am sure will will meet down the road sometime...

well, i could always stop along the way and fish for cowgirls at the cowboy bars, but i'd have to fit that in between my looting spree and my greeter duties by 2pm. hmmm, is it rude for a cowboy, to ask a cowgirl, if she has her own table and chairs? i'm willing to take one for the group, but i don't wanna show up with a shiner (scares the chridren during greeting). kevbo

Sorry about Uwe & Co. It certainly won't be as shiny without him. We'll have to try to glow extra hard in his honor.
Congrats slowolf...you do look more masterful already. BTW, what route are you taking from SLO to the rally?

Caravan
laurel good thought....
i live in simi valley, and am planning on leaving friday morning after the commute traffic has eased. i know there are a lot of folks around me. i'm going to take the 118, 210, 10, and finally the 62.
i was hoping to perhaps hookup with some folks coming from the north, but alais, i don't know where people there are coming from, and trying to hookup along the way may be harder than assigning camping spots on a forum rally to 29 palms.
i may be a pain to travel with as you know, i like 40 foot chicken cafe's with bubba the cop inside, dive cowboy bars, and i've got that looting expedition.
i'd like to arrive no later than 2pm.
well, anyway, you could take this as a warning, and AVOID me, so u have my route, just take another... or the same, just at a different time. so like were together, but not together.

Wow...so many numbers, so little time. I'm actually heading out on Thursday and caravaning south with Kim (she's taking her AS to Palm Springs but not to our rally...I know, what's wrong with her?). I enjoy dive cowboy bars and anything else with some character but will be stopping by a day ahead of you and Trigger. You could drop in on your way and see if they are still talking about us.
I was planning to head south through LA and then out on 10 but was wondering if there is a better way to go (inland perhaps?).
(Okay, I'll drag out a real map...*papers rustling*...Sometimes GPS is a crutch.)

You may want to take 126 from Ventura, to the 5, 210, south on the ?15 (or 215--it is where the 210 goes to local traffic only) to the 10 to 62. 126 is nicer and less likely to be crowded than the 101. Debbie
