Yep, Sally is getting pumped. I can hear her rockin' out there in the driveway now, to the tune of Born to be Wild...

Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way...

Can't wait!!

Just great now I have that song stuck in my head - I will be singing it all day as I pick out vulkum and prime the walls - not waiting doing it half in and half out. hubby has to work this evening and he wanted to garden last night so I did not argue - weeds are taking over the asylum!

That little picking tool is just marvelous!!!!! best thing I have bought so far as a restoration tool.

Cheers 2 weeks to go yikes better stay of here or I will never get anything done.

I'm getting a few butterflies of excitement after reading about everyone elses excitement! We canceled our reservation for this wknds Midwest Rally in IL. A gianormous dissapointment. It's supposed to be hot with scattered rain all week there and that = humidity. I'm feeling good but still coughing a bit since the pneumonia 4 wks ago and know the humidity won't be good for breathing and staying inside all the while doesn't work at a rally. (chest x-ray follow-up Tues. should be fine) Let's hope for moderate temps and low humidity for SSR, OK?

OK Steph the previous boo boo has been documented and Sharon will not be taking off points for that with the clipboard scores...

Laura, true true words. How many of us have felt obliged to step aside while we let a man handle something all the while anxious to redo it as soon as he is out of sight?

Vroom vroom Get your motor runnin' Head out on the highway,Looking for adventure...yeah baby!

Sharon who let you away from Lady Bug for a break?!

Suz, so sorry to hear you aren't well. Take care of yourself and we will all vow to request pleasant weather on your behalf.

I'm just thanking my lucky stars that you and Vicki and Danielle will be stopping to meet me and I don't have to fall in from the side of the highway as you pass by. I'm no Blue Angel(speaking of blue,) even my synchronized swimming needs work.

We were born, born to be wild
We can climb so high
but I don't wanna die!

Yes WE CAN TOW IT!

Carol does the Aluminium Slide

Glad you'll be caravaning with us Carol. I've sort of lost track of the recent changes - Vickie will fix me up, I'm sure. If you can parallel park that rig, that's as good as being a Blue Angel. We'll call ahead when it's time for you to start building up steam on the shoulder of the road. As we pass by you simply slide into place and all will be good.

Glad your on the mend Sue - fingers crossed for A-1 x-rays.

AND lets have NO humidity raindrops keep falling on my head

Lovely sunny Day - but calling for thundershowers and I have no LIDS on the roof. Hope to pick up the trim pieces today for the Skylight and Hubby can get that big hole sealed up when he gets home. And if the weather is good continue on to the new vent.

Off to work on the compounding around the back window and get that baby sealed back up. Wish I had the time to wait for the new stuff by not this round.

Then to the front window to do the same.

Wait what is that way way way in the distance yes I think it just might be - a teenie weenie little light at the end of the tunnel........

I hope to see photos of the rivette caravan!!

Suz hope everything goes well and gets better!!

I better get cracking and finish the last packing for the trailer!!

Take care!

How come when you post I just crack up with a response...

Checklist

This would be mine....Is the trailer still behind me - Check - not check it is but "Check that it is!"

Nothing works so I have that covered

Okay I lie a bit - the light bulbs work...Sharon don't forget to check that you have lightbulbs - oh wheel chocks and stands would be good too.

However I can do the circle check - check that the duck tape is on good and tight and that no trailer parts are hanging out the bottom of the trailer.

Check that the skylight lid is down - augh dugh it don't open ya nini

Check hmmm check (cheque) book yep check I mean cheque....

Caravan photos that would be cool...Look there goes LadyBug the only airstream with polished bits - but check out those wheels!!!

Have a great weekend - you know where I will be tee hee....... will update you all on the progess later.
