Hey how did you know I have done more wondering around with a glass of wine in my hand and not doing work???

Trivia question for all you vintage gals.

I have original gaskets in the windows skin frames and they look like original screens.

Did they spray nylon screens with spray paint back in 63??

It's raining steadily. Does not look like it will last long so keep on truckin'.

I've scounted the whole area. With one more 50 to 30 amp adaptor (the campground lent me one) we should have 8 sites with 30 amp or better. There are two nicely shaded ones with 20 amp service, all in the same section... but we can move a unit or two across the road and up a bit if we need all 10 on 30 amp.

It's across an old NARROW steel bridge that the people swear heavy fifth wheels cross all the time. You won't see MY 25 FB goin' there!

Ohio has a near drought (just relieved by some rain today) and thirsty raccoons might get to my gray water down the road after I leave

Waiting for the rain to pass to try out the "grilled meatloaf"...

Thanks for the updates Paula, great scouting info. I noticed on the flying j/pilot websites that there is an rv dump site at the Ohio truck stops also, if you are taking the turnpike I remember there being rv dump sites there as well if worse comes to worse.
I've got a spare 50 amp adaptor/3 electric extension cords if anyone needs it, and with my awning don't need shade, I think the fantastic fan and my other fans will be fine!!

If any of you are leaving for the international or going east through the W. Virginia northern panhandle, every rest stop I've seen in West VA has a dump station.

Flying J - yepper also. Someone is bound to bring a blue tank, so where there's a will, there's a way. Thecampground's bridge doesn't look too precarious for a truck, but I'd just rather not take the Airstream there. It's narrow and there's a good chance it would bottom out even if it didn't scrape the sides.

The rivette caravan arrived safely at the campground yesterday!

Have you polished one of the trailers? Who's learned to drive rivets? How I wish I were there with you, but surely someone has a laptop in contact with those of us left out of the fun. Hi! My best friend, Larrita, and I were able to get down to the rally. We left on Tues. and spent the night at the Terraport @JC. From there we headed out for the Summer Solstice, where 8 sistah's made camp.

I believe that Foiled Again is the only one that is hooked up to a laptop there. She was the first to arrive and welcomed all of us in. We were so busy having fun that nobody really wanted to take the time to do email and post replies. Larrita and I spent a two nights and then had to boogie on home by today. The sisters are having fun and have found several kinds of wine that everyone seems to be enjoying. A wonderful meal was shared on Thurs. night, and we were up wayyyyyyy late waiting for GT6921 (Sharon) to come in from ON. Everyone did great at getting their rigs into place and set up. You go girls!!!!!
Larrita and I took lots of pictures!

We all did the tour at JC on Fri. at 2:00. Great tour. Since they close earlier and all the workers were not in the shop we could actually get in to see lots of things that are not normally walked around. Don, our guide, did the "long, long tour"! We did not have to listen to the usual hammering and construction sounds in the shop, so it was very pleasant. Of course, no pictures allowed in there.
