Happy hours?

Of course every hour will be happy hour at the rivette solstice rally because the women are so cool!

I was wondering will we have happy hours at our rally? How do those work at other rallies? I just tried a mojito for the first time this year and loved it, maybe I could bring some for others to sample?

At the rallies I have been to Happy Hour has a designated time to meet if you already aren't together. In our case we can be happy all the time. Except for when we drive into town. The westies were talking about mamosas for breakfast. Yum. Course that might send me directly back to bed in short order. What's a mojita?

Hi Carol, a Mojito has crushed mint leaves, lime, sugar, ice, and rum. Nice and light, but not super sweet. Sort of a summery taste to it.

course I can't wait to try Paula's (Foiled Again)cosmos, I've never had one yet!

The plan is Suz spend the night over by Vickies at River Ridge and they leave the next day and Steph and I meet them at a rest stop. Is that right? Then you Jamie can meet us there too and possibly bring Sharon and Annie along if the timing is right and we sail into Ohio together. And perhaps we will have more on our caravan. What do you think?

When you guys work out the route you're taking, why don't you email me with the plan and I'll see where is the best place for me to hook in. Does that sound okay?

-J

Oh we got a mighty convoy truckin' through the night; we got a mighty convoy, ain't she a beautiful site? Come on and join our convoy...

Here is a better vision....

All lanes taken up by slow moving females Rivettes pulling their Airstreams - on every local news station. Moving at a nice clip with a police escort all the way...

I don't know what you're drinkin' with your lunch today, but can I have some?

Yes, that would be me at the very end, movin' slow with the police escort behind, sayin' "move it along, lady, move it along..."

Jamie - it is called Good Old Canadian Cabin Feaver - I gotta get out of here....

I have turned the heater on the LadyBug just hoping I can get in there in about half an hour to put in a couple of hours.

Was just signing up to the WDCU with a brand new WBCCI membership. Yep kinda stupid but we took out two memberships.

I now have the number.........drum roll - #1963 and Peter has the number #1961. How appropriate.

Now if WBCCI could just figure out that some crazy people out here just might own two Trailers and want two different numbers - but live in the same house, read the same Blue Berret and the same Directory. Also listing two numbers is not a big deal just something out of the "Norm"

But as they say - go with the flow until the flow changes direction.....

I just wanted the big red numbers to match the year of the ladybug and now it does.!

PSS never could get #1969 for MoonBeam - waited patiently but never came up.

We should dress in jumpsuits and bandanas and hold time trials starting with a sprint to the truck in high heels. Or maybe we could drive in precision and synchronized movements and be like the Blue Angels of Airstream trailers. We could travel all over giving performances to keep us in gas money to travel all over.

Great WBCCI numbers Sharon!

Love those numbers, Sharon. It's gonna look very cool with the two trailers side by side.

Oh my gosh!!! How in the world are we suppose to drive while laughing the whole way? Everyone is going to think the circus is coming to town! I can just hear it now, "Honestly officer we haven't had anything to drink (yet)!"

This is my route: I am interested in leaving on Wednesday, June20. Can everyone caravan on that day? I will leave River Ridge at 8 AM on the day of our caravan. I am not sure of Suz's plans yet. I will discuss this with her after she returns.

River Ridge Resort to US 131 south @131 to Grand Rapids.
I-96 East to US 23 South to Michigan-Ohio border.
I-475 around Toledo, OH to I-75 South.
Exit #82 off I-75 on US 36 to Fletcher.

Sharon, I am hanging on by my fingernails. I know that I don't have much choice other than wait. This summer has so many promises of fun that I am finding it increasingly hard to contain my excitment!

Holding on, but barely,

Vickie

Greetings from Sunny Florida!

Greetings, Ladies!

My name is Colleen, and I'm fairly new to the forums. I just bought my third A/S, a 1969 Globetrotter, and I'm so excited about it! I am disabled due to back and knee injuries, and can no longer work outside the home. Mostly now, I do web design work for my Mom's business (www. thelighthousepeople .com). However, I am ambulatory at the moment, and can't wait to attend this summer Lady's rally!

I currently live with my father and brother. (men) They have 2 males dogs. My boyfriend (man) has 3 male dogs. (did I mention I'm allergic to dogs?) I have 2 male sugargliders. I am surrounded by males!!! I am so happy to find you all, and look forward to some FEMALE companionship online, as well as in person!

You sound like a fun bunch! I'll make my famous MickeyRitas. (I used to work at Disney)

Now for my first questions: Is the rally in Michigan or Ohio? Did it change since you started? What will the temps be like there in June?

I'll be driving, most likely without my GT, so I will rent or tent when I get there. Maybe before then, I'll find another Rivette in North Florida or Alabama to ride with me.

Hello Colleen!!! Thanks for sending sunshine. The dates remain but the destination has changed to Ohio. Here's the link. That is very close to our Airstream home of Jackson Center and the factory which we hope to visit again. Coachmen RV Dealer-Ohio RV Sales and Campgrounds

You are living in a man's world! You are surely outnumbered, yes, you must come get a proper dose of Women's Rivettes Rally. It will do all our hearts good to gather together and celebrate our womanhood. (would that be girls of the hood? ) Mickeyritas sound perfect! Anxious to try one, and hear about Disney, Disney is so spectacular. What did you do? I bet you have a million stories to tell.

So here's a bowl of blue chips, they're hot, and some home made salsa and let's go over see what's happening around the campfire. I hear lots of laughter going on.
