Friday Chili Nite

I'll bring cornbread & salad. Is the cowboy costume party still set for Saturday Nite? BTW, it's supposed to rain in Kernville Tueday & Wednesday~I hope we don't "lose" our spot on the river!!!

Yep. Wear yer western duds on Saturday night for the
happy hour potluck karaoke gala extravaganzawesternpalooza.
Or any time if you're feeling it.

The weather rumor is that the weekend is supposed to be clear.
But then you never know. We can always retire to the saloon...

Hi All~
Rivernook just called and asked us if we wanted to move from #425 (on river but w/o sewer) into #443. We took it so any fence sitters or view-less folks may want to call them & make a move. BTW~was this the "bad sewer" site from last year, Safari Rick???

XLNT move, now you can stumble to Party Central. Great to see you two are making it, the rally would not be the same without you.

I had talked to them a couple of months ago and they said sewer issue was resolved.

BTW, I'm scheduled to arrive on Thursday. Hopefully was no problems !

Sadly Milo and Karen had to cancel do to work conflicts.

The above list may not be totally accurate but no worries.

We'll see you all this weekend.

Everyone travel safe and enjoy the trip.

See you soon!

Happy trails,

Twisting the knife...

So after my earlier message I was on the 14 heading south for work and what do I see going north? A burgandy Ford towing a 30ish foot looking trailer with a blue stripe. I wondered if he was going to Rivernook...

Ten minutes later I see a 25 footer being towed by a blue Power Wagon. Holy sheets thats Kevbo! I know he's going to Rivernook.

I am getting through the day knowing you all are partying and having fun. Keep it up.

Hello everybody,
this is Nancy of Nancy & Glenn - we are signed up for space #445 starting tonight(Thursday), 10/15/09 to Sunday, 10/18/09. Unfortunately Glenn is sick & has a fever, & we can't come after all. I just called Rivernook to let them know. If anyone wants our spot it is available. (I'm hoping we can recoup some or all of the $135.00 we've paid). Hope you all have a wonderful time.

Milo and Karen,

We are goin to miss you, although I think On Safari may be better neighbors, with the way Karen gets up at the crack of dawn and plays her clarinet to the chirping of the birds, not to mention your constant target practice with any one of your large caliber guns and of course I can't fail to mention how our propane tanks always seem to go empty in the middle of the night.

But we will miss you, next year, try to get some vac time for October.
