Bad news for us

Rivernook weekend my employer is insisting on sending me to San Diego. Since that employer does pay all my bills. Guess where I'll be?

So we have to give up our space. We had booked space 451 from Thurs night to Sunday.

Anybody want it before we turn it in to the office. I'd rather it be used by an Airstreamer than someone not from our group.

Yes, we have courtesy parking for you. About an hour North of Los Angeles.

We'll take your space (check in Friday, October 16, check out Sunday, October 18). What do we need to do? Please let us know.

THANKS!

I curse my employer everyday!

If anyone else drops out, can we be first on the waiting list? I really need to get away.

We'll be sending Rivernook a FAX today canceling our reservation and giving them your name as the new tenants of space #451. After we send the FAX you'll have to call the office and cinch (reserve and pay for) the site.

I'll send you a PM after the FAX is sent.

Call Rivernook. I'm sure you can get a spot somewhere nearby.
Where ever you land, you'll only be a short stumble, er, stroll
from the happy hour(s) and potluck.

(trust me folks, I've had one of her tasty and potent martinis )

It's been a while...so I figured I'd check out everyone's location for the 2009 reunion. I'm horrified to see a trailer trash favorite and voted "The Cutest Couple" by the International Cyclops with Pink Eye Foundation, Karen and her AS...I mean Karen and Milo, won't be attending. Here's a man who can explain why they don't speak Latin in Latin America and you can't get out of work? Remember, Saint (San) Diego is in your heart. So see what you can do about getting the rest of your carcass up to Kernville.

Last year's was mesmerizing.

Yes, the time for the 'ho down is rapidly approaching. Interesting how much a good Western shindig and Pahrump, NV have in common. If the cowpokes are loaded and the firearms are not, I may share my poetry in progress, "There Once Was A Lady From Cape Cod..." and "Mary Had A Little Lamb--Right Next To Her Potatoes And Gravy."

There once was a lady from Cape Cod, and that in it self was quite odd (only because i live in sunny calif), but that i dismissed, in a deep dream,... because I found out,... she has this Vintage Airstream. She said she had this deep burn, to venture out and visit the Kern, I said, i see your deep dream, so get your airstream, and make a bee line, while there's still time, and bait that fishing hook, because we'll for sure see you at Rivernook!!!!
Were #428 on the River!!!

See you Tim Can!!

It is plain to see,
that we have in our midst a poet more eloquent than me.
A man whose technicolor dream,
Blind those unaccustomed to the radiance of a vintage Airstream.
Chappy knows, because she has one too,
youth is nice, but experience makes them woo.
So now we have poetry (?) and the sounds of DJ Safri-Rick,
the mods would not be too pleased if I continued my limerick.
Suffice it to say the Lady took a ferry out of Woods Hole,
and met a man on a nearby island known for its rhyming role.
Sixty3TW4US's version made me shiver,
But then again, he's my fishing bud, #428 on the River.
