Ahem.
There are many wonderful varieties of vegetarian chili.
Chili comes from the chili pepper seasoning Mr. Time.
No soup for you!

Paula, how about if you take charge of the dance (square, line etc.) portion of the festivities?

I assume Rick will be Mr. Karaoke again (what a crooner that man is).

I think a mechanical bull may be a dangerous idea considering the possibility (he he)
of alcohol being consumed. I don't think we have enough insurance...

Yes, ladies and gent's I am still alive !!!! Although after the last get together I did consider jumping into the Kern river , I can assure you that what happen at the last rally will NEVER happen again (my Karaoke machine blew up !). I have since acquired a new machine and a back up ! And to make sure it works, I have been "testing" the new machine!

I will go on a worldwide search for both kinds of karaoke music (County and Western) to assist those who have the desire to sing their country harts out. I have also acquired some current century "POP" music for the young at hart.

I hope my associate (Tim Can) is getting that wonderful voice ready?

Sincerely yours,

Safari-Rick

KimoSafari Rick -

Assemble all who wish to drink from the Silver Patron spring of courage. Let the Silver spirits and the drum beat resonate our bones, numb our minds and drown out the garrulous (sp?) squelch of the american-idol-wannabe bird.

Now is the time to git those doggies rollin'. Keep those doggies rollin'. Rawhide!

In other words...I'm down.

Recent reviews

Don't want to rain on any parades, but be informed. It seems that this park has recently sold and has seen some new issues. Have you all looked at the recent reviews of this place:

Rivernook Campground Inc, Kernville | MyTravelGuide.com

RV Park Reviews :: Kernville, California ( CA ) - RV Parks and Campground Reviews

Some are still good reviews, but there are recent not so good ones to check out. Maybe it's not as bad as it seems.

They do seem to have a new website that looks good.

http://www.site.rivernooksales.com/Home.html

Hopefully it will be a good time for all.

Mary

New ownership

I don't know if this will affect us, maybe we should have someone reconfirm our reservations to make sure they will still honor ours. I also noticed in their group reservations policy some possible changes.

We all have individual reservations so unless the place closes down completely
we should be fine.

It's more about the company than the campground anyway.

Feel free to call Rivernook and double check.
