It's absolutely beautiful here! There's already been a Condor sighting! Lots of deer walking around the campground, and this morning we awoke to a whole bunch of wild turkey around our trailer (not the kind in the bottle either!)
We're headed out for a hike, safe travels everyone!

spotty Verizon coverage....free WiFi at the park office! I saw my first ever CONDOR yesterday about an hour after our arrival! it briefly flew with a group of Turkey Vultures, enabling us to see the size difference!

WiFi and condors! Great news. Jan is developing vacation creep so we may be there by 11 am....9 am if she has her way. Hopefully 102 will be available early!

I don't think I can make it. Husband and I are both working on large project deadlines and not sure if we will be done even before tomorrow. If by some miracle we finish tonight, we will drive up tomorrow morning but it is not looking good.  so bummed and needed a getaway.

Oh, I'm bummed to hear this!
The Pinnacles are a total break, even for just one night. Bart and I went last November, arrived around 4 pm, took a hike to the reservoir, watched the full moon rise and left the next morning before noon. It was lovely.
Come if you can. Rest some other way if you can't.

Great news. There is wifi at the store. If you have the Viber app on your phone and buy credits on iTunes you can make phone calls. Otherwise no cell service.
