Pacific NW MH Rally
1) Suggest a spot
2) Dates? April 4,5,6 is the Southeast rally. It would be neat to compare notes afterwards! What's the weather like the first week in April?
Our first rally last year was pretty informal. We just picked a place and a date and did it. We are trying to be a little more organized this year.
Let me know and I'll put it up on my web-site.

NW AS MH rally!!
I think the best suggestion has been to use the facilities at the Land Yacht Harbor Club in Lacey. We have posters who are members, that could make the arrangements? This is close for most people in the puget sound area. Early April is still cold and rainy, although most of us are used to doing activities in the cold and rain. May would be a better bet for decent weather. I'm up for it.

PNW Rally
May is good we belong to LYH and can get the info as to what is available. We have to check on a committment we have to do music for a wedding in May. (we have DJ equipment and about 900 CD's and do this occaisionally mostly for friends or relatives anymore. We like to GO not have to be home on Saturdays.
Won't know until next Monday when our nephew gets home from Rapid City.
Also Mothers day is the 11th. Who else are members of LYH?

We're not WBCC members but are well aware of LYH (live about 20 minutes away). I picked up a membership packet at the gate house and I beleive we're eligible for the "first-year free" deal.
Don't know if the A/S will be ready to go but we'd be interested in dropping by to visit the Pac NW rally.
Our A/S delay is that we are in the beginning stages of a restroration and updating program.

I guess this is a good time to join also. Just let me know what weekend in May. Hopefully we can get the word out to the local AS MH owners to attend. Get those rigs polished up and ready for the road!

24th sounds good to me. I did a quick check of the local AS/Argosy Motor Homes owners that I have seen post here in the past few weeks. There are undoubtedly more and then there are the lurkers. Blackbox and LKappenman-Seattle, Bronze Dancer-Oly, 3Ms75Argosy-Rainy WA, Larry Brown-Vancouver. How does the 24th of May sound? Let Dave know. It would be kind of neat to see 7or 8 AS MH's lined up at the Harbor club.

We will e-mail LYH and see whats open. Our wedding is the 17th and Memorial Day weekend is the 24, 25,26 so that may be a consideration now that I look at it so that leaves the 3rd and 4th, and the 31st and 1st of June for weekends I don't know how many of us are retired so we can see how this shakes out.

Pacific NW Rally
I just got off the phone with the president of the Land Yacht Harbor in Olympia. As for May the 1-4th is a crab feed and bazaar Rally. We went last year lots of Airstreams there. Not sure of the cost since I can't seem to locate my newsletter. But will pass that on. The second weekend is a group from Great american rv 136 of them. The the 17th is taken for us with a wedding. But the 24th is good and ofcourse the last weekend is Memorial Day weekend. The Crab Feed might be a good weekend. The rates for parking are 15.00 for non Wbcci members, 11.00 for members and 9.00 for LYH members.
As soon as I find my newsletter I will post the cost. How many would be interested in either a weekend by ourselves or the crab feed there is smething going on meals, games, sales etc each day.

Update
I just talked to the Rally Host for this Crab feed. The way this works is as follows.
This is the biggest rally they have so we can bring two guests is all, however if you already belong to the WBCCI then you wouldn't have to be a guest. The price is $12.00 per person and that is for the all you can eat crab and other meals.
The parking is as I previously mentioned there is a bonus of one free night but I am not totally sure on that one yet.
Let me know what your status is as far as members and we can plan from there otherwise we can go to plan B (whatever that is)
