My husband was wondering if we need to bring costumes with it being almost Halloween? Maybe he would settle for a pumpkin carving contest.

We are heading out tomorrow via Ashland for the week and on to the beach..................also wanted to know if I should throw in my annual costume ???

Couldn't light the oven and the water heater button broke when we tried to test it, so no hot H2o or baked goodies......... but we will be there in good spirits.... or was that with spirits!!
Looking forward to meeting everyone,
Jerry and Patsi

You were close on the last one, you need to include the
at the end of the area you wish to box. If I say:
this is a test
It does not work, but add that ending and:

Jerry and Patsi, are you going to Ashland see some plays? We were there in the beginning of Sept. Had a great time as always, and a wonderful dinner at Martinos - mmmmm, Martinos, makes me hungry just thinking about it Frances just got back from there too, we'll have to trade stories over the campfire!

There are several ways to put text in a quote box.

The simplest way is to find the reply you want to quote and click"Quote" in the bottom right of post - the reply editoor will pop up with that text already in it.

The most useful way is to copy the text you want in the quote box... paste it into your message and then hightlight it (select it) then click on the symbol on the reply editor tool bar that looks like a cartoon speech box... see picture... the highlighted text will appear in your post as a quote.

Yes there will be a pumpkin contest. Lets have pumkins carved by dinner Sat. and have them on display. Then we can vote on scariest pumpkin. Winner will be announced at breakfast on Sunday. Yes there will be a prize. Jim will be bringing the Sawsall to create his masterpiece. Hopefully there will be pumpkin left when he is done.

I will be hosting a dance with my home room tonight. Pray I survive the music and mayhem.

Well I survived the rap, punk, and Gothic rock. I think every kid there complained about the music. No one group is ever happy with all the music. So needless to say, I'm so ready to be away from them for a weekend. Chili and long walks on the beach will restore my psche and get me through until Thanksgiving Break.

How time flies!

Its hard to believe that it was four months ago yesterday when Janet opened this thread and announced the dates for Beverly Beach. Now its almost here.

On the Newport end, the "tank is full and the barbeque is ready."

I'm sure most of you are aware of the passing of StingrayL82's wife Sherri on August 31. http://www.airforums.com/forum...810#post173810
He has decided to share his wife's collection of recipies with the forum's family.

http://www.airforums.com/forum...835#post175835

When I asked for a digital copy of it, I told them I would share something from it at our rally. I'll also have the cookbook on CD for anyone that wants to make a copy of it. Or let me know ahead of time, and I'll make one for you.

OreExcella-Yes to Sharris' cookbook, it would be nice to have a copy. Thanks.

Rally time is really close now, and I see that this is no longer a small rally. Lots of people singned up--GREAT. Who knows, next year maybe we will take over the whole park, and the year after, the whole coast...........How much chilli can you cook Gary???????

Question--Can we fill up with water at the park, so I don't have to pack a full tank 200 miles?

Thanks Bob of Bob and Molly

Yes - the reserved sites have elect and water hook ups. There is a dump station at the park entrance and a bath house w/ hot showers - no quarters required.
