Hated to leave on such a beautiful day at the beach.

We made it home after a week of trailer travel to a grocery bag full of mail, 13 messages on the machine (only one a complaining tenant!) and more junk mail in the e-mail box then my delete finger could handle!
It was great to meet everyone! To put a face and name with the avitar! THANKS to Janet and Gary for all their hard work and planning. You guys have this thing down to a science!

640 x 480 jpg I think is acceptable.
I'm in the process of editing my pics to choose the ones to post....so stay tuned for a ton of pics!

My thoughts.......Great rally......lots of enthusiastic AS's......real geniune folk with great projects and great tales! Thanks Janet and Gary for suppling great food, great guitar entertainment & dry shelter......and to Campcollector for reserving a great loop, firewood, and great stories about campers and what they do and shouldn't do!

I can only fit 2 pics per upload, dial up makes the process a bit slow if I try to do more at a time. Don't you just love the internet and digital photos and the instant gratification of seeing pictures immediately.

We're home and drying out. We had a blast! It was great to meet new streamers and take over the g loop. I love the coast - even when it rains.

Campcollector - does your insurance carrier know what you do for fun camping? We really enjoyed the homemade almond brittle (courtesy of Mona and Marc's kids ) on the way home. We caught up to Norbert around Arlington WA - waved and then blew by.

Where are we going next time? How about Maryhill state park near hood river? Anyone been there?

We might want to check out Deschutes State Park, it is just a few miles west of the Dalles. Maybe Wascobob could check it out for us. But I'm sure where ever we end up, we will have a rockin' time.

We had a great time at Beverly Beach. What a wonderful group of people to meet and visit with. It was a great first rally for us "newbie" Airstreamers.

A big thank you to Janet and Gary ! The chili feed was great and so was breakfast Sunday morning. It was good to see the people I knew again plus it was great too meet all the "new to me" faces. Jonathan(campcollector) supplied the firewood, a huge firering and the tables. Thanks ! I had a great time and so did my friend Theo. We may convert him yet

. I posted all of the pictures I took here : Beverly Beach Rally Pics enjoy ! The pumpkins from the carving contest are there, most of the trailers that were there and Theo and I's trip to the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

We sure lucked out on the weather. Sunny Saturday and part of Sunday ! Woo Hoo !

I am going to get at least a couple more short trips in before the end of the year. I'd be up for doing an informal forum getogether.

I wouldn't mind heading east. The Descutes park is small but, depending on attendance it would do. It is a nice place. I have been there a couple times.

Maryhill is much larger. I haven't been there yet but I can check it out. Maybe tomorrow since I will be up there. Plus, Janet, the winery is very close. I bet they have a nice Merlot waiting for ya !
