My son is in his senior year of High School. The campground and airstreamers will be around next year, the High School band marching down the midway at Cedar Point won't be.

this is what I keep telling myself.......

Hi All
Just an update . Our plans have changed somewhat. We have been set back a day because of a funeral of a very close friend.
So I guess what I am saying is we are a day behind now and are not sure if we can catch up. If we are able to come it will not be till Saturday Morning,if we can come at all.
I'll keep ya posted.

great time

Larry and I arrived safely at home. Took us about 3.5 hrs. from Dillon to LaG. We just want to say to all that we had a great time, despite the rainy weather. We were glad to see Bob and Jayne, and great neice, Katie, whom we had not seen camping in a year. And they were both sick! They were very brave to have ventured out in that weather. We still enjoyed the visit. Thanks to Bob we had a great campfire going all weekend. We also saw Brenda and Terry (safarinight). They haven't been camping with us this year either. Even tho it was just a drive in visit, we enjoyed it! We were pleasantly surprised to see "pilgrim", Becky and Reed, pull into the campground! We had not seen them all summer either! What a great surprise! And after all of the time that we have been on here talking to Ganglin', we finally got to meet him and get to see his trailer! Great visit with him, but sorry that the rest of his family was sick! Gary, what happens at Dillon, stays at Dillon!!!!
Hope to see you all again soon!!
Roger and Mary Lou, sorry that you could not be there. We will see you again down the road! We are headed to a campground near Kings Island for Dock Dogs this coming Thurs. afternoon when Loren gets home from work. Will let you know the details when we have them.

Hi all - Took us exactly one hour to get back to Lancaster where we store the AS. That's one of the real benefits of Dillon - it is close to home. We're thinking of returning very soon - Becky wasn't ready to come home yet. We'll have to take a real hard look at the calendar to see when we can get out again - next week end???

Dillon was really fun - despite the rainy, cold weather. We had a real variety of Airstreams to look at - 1966 Safari; 70's International (Overland) after three years of working on it; '89 Excella and an '07 "modified" Ocean Breeze. What a neat variety - and all great looking! It was better than going to an RV show.

It was great fun meeting folks that we've read on the "forums" over time. Keep the notes and info flowin folks - they're fun to read and such a learning experience. We still look at the forums to learn - this is only our second year and so much yet to learn. Glad to have seen all of you and sorry others couldn't/didn't make it. Perhaps another time. Keep on with your safe 'streamin!!
