My deepest sympathies. It is a loss that affects all of us. The banana boats were a great relief from the nuclear chili! Glad I made the decision to attend Branson at the last minute.

Jane, Patty and I send our sympathy also. We are both in total shock. Al was such a nice, nice man. It was so nice to see you both in Branson. The folks here at the forum will miss him.

Regards,

Jack

Oh, Jane, we are SO sorry to hear of your loss. We really enjoyed meeting you both at Branson and I will always have a great memory of Al coming around with the tray of banana boats (my FAVORITE camping dessert), urging me to "take just one more!"

Jane,
We are so sorry for your loss. We really enjoyed being parked next to you at the rally and had a great time visiting with both of you. We had forgotten Al's online name and never got to thank Al for the "it's a dirty job.." rock we discovered when unhooking. 'shaker

I got to know Al only from online messaging. We never quite put it together to meet up even though we're only an hour apart. Jane, I'm so sorry to hear about this! We'll offer advice any way we can if you decide to part with Wayward Wind.

Interest and turnout from last October has made this rally into a biannual rally. I will prepare for the October rally in middle July. Stay tuned for a future thread.

YEAH! I booked our sport at Compton ridge north today for the April Rally! I AM SOOOO EXCITED!

We booked lot 18 which is at the bottom of the park with the woods behind us. Ellen the manager is very nice and very helpful. She said 1-16 or 17 were book already as well as others. Now if I can get off work! I started a new job and do have to work some weekends but I hope by asking in Jan for a weekend in April it should fly.

Since my husband is handycapped we may have to drive to the pavilion but thats ok. He will have his new hip by then and might suprise me and himself!

We had to miss last years Branson Rally because Jacks Mother died in Samoa and we hed to leave the last of Sept. through October. SO this will be our 1st Rally. We can't wait to meet everyone.

See you there!
