I really, really want to go. Never been to a rally. What do I need to do to reserve a space. Do I just do it myself or is there some sort of routine I need to follow. let me know.

That date works for us, and the campground sounds great! Thanks, soldiermedic!

Just made mine as well. Remember to ask for the North Site when making reservations. Also, they offer the Good Sam membership for ONLY $12.00 dollars, and can bill you for it when you get there.

There are currently 33 sites left for that weekend at the north site. They are holding them, but it is first come first serve for forum members. If the north park sells out, the main ground has room, but is only offering 25% for Good Sam members.

I know it is early in the season, but don't pass up this great rally!

RESERVE NOW!

We live only 2.5 hours away, and Cindy's mom has a home there. Nice place to visit. New Titanic attraction is GREAT. Built to look like the ship, inside and out. I would reccomend it if you haven't been. Compton's Ridge is a nice BIG campground.

I've never stayed at the north campground. It's a separate facility and much smaller than the main campground so I can't comment on whether it has equal facilities. Were those full hookup sites? Did they say that the inside facilities and the covered areas were at the north campground?

Price looks good so I think we will see if we can book it also. We might stay a little longer since we usually like to go to Silver Dollar City while we are there. Note that I think the City is open from Wednesday through Sunday in the fall. Check their web site for further information. Silver Dollar City theme park and attractions - Branson Missouri

Regards,

Jack

hey look at that...

pick a date and place, and folks will come!

fall is such a great time and g, i hope to make it.

the newmex balloon rally is the previous week so i'd have to haul asssss.

should be a great time in missouri!

looking at the campground site, the north area does have 'full hookups' listed...

the google earth map shows at least 4-5 camping sections...

ranging from full concrete with not many trees to very wooded spots cut back further in.

the north area looks to have a separate entrance, but the map is not labeled and vague...

i wonder IF the campground has a printed site map that someone could scan into the thread.

rally time!

The north site has about 35 spots in it and it is in a horse shoe shaped area. All sites are full hookups with gravel pad, but there is one pull through. We can use the facilities at the main site if we are in the north campground...just have to mosy on over to it.

hey steve and other branson rally folks...

now that you've got a real deal going,

and a signup thread.

how about asking a mod to move THIS thread to the rally section,

and give it a snazzy title..

reflecting the particulars.

IF you ask, they will do...

cheers

I am getting a map of the north park faxed to me and I will try to get it online asap...

The gentleman at the park did say that it was not drawn to scale but it should give us an idea of how the park is layed out.

Good Idea 2air.

I will contact one now.

I was trying to figure out how to do that earlier, but now I know.

Steve,
OK smooth talker, I'm in. I've signed your roster, and will call the campground tomorrow for reservations.
