The news is that fires are not permitted at the north park. They are permitted at the main facility, but only on certain sites.

I don't expect this to be a rally breaker for anyone, but I can get a dvd of a fireplace circa 1980s and put it up on the projector

Only if you do it in the cool flowerpot and if you don't mind our drooling every time we go outside!

You could be smoking pot for I care....(that's a joke)...

Met Nohillgrish tonight, we are both fortunate to have tolerant wives and easy going neighbors.

I was plastic welding the hood to my John Deere (a new one cost $400 and I dang near ruint my mower mowing the daughter's grass.....three flats this week, one last week, buying new tires.....$140.00 40 each for the back ones, 20 each for the front ones. Wait a minute, that doesn't add up to 140.....I also ran over all the rocks she is growing.)

So up comes this guy in a white shirt and tie, asking if I am Jim Lee. I showed him the airstream, we had a nice visit and looking forward to the branson rally.

Emergency Message

I cannot for the life of me find the hot plate for my smoker. I have been to Lowes, Walmart, a local supermarket, Linens and Things, Walgreens, Target, and K-Mart to find a replacement. Not one store has a round single burner hot plate that will fit in the flower pot.

If anyone sees one, can you let me know where you saw it at.

Hey Gene,

I am up for ideas from anyone about activities since this is my first time planning a rally. I plan to watch me208070's polishing demonstration on Saturday, and plan to see Artstream's pics from Burning Man. We can do movies after chow on Friday night if people are interested, or perhaps for Wii Bowling (This won't injure my rotator cuff).

As for the twister game, you notice 2Air didn't put anything down about the baby oil they poured on the mat before the game. What a scoundrel.

Ain't it the truth. I had to get a restraining order on him. He kept going on about how a good doctor makes house calls...but I was never home.

Amy however refuses to discuss the issue with me.

You will need to make some left turns to stay with 265 and eventually work your way to Compton Ridge. This route will take you over the top of Table Rock Dam which in itself is quite spectacular. Note that you will pass the Compton Ridge Main (South) Campground first which will be on your right. The North Campground will be about a quarter mile further on your right.

I'm not too good on directions if you are coming from the west, but I'm assuming that most of you will be traveling US 65 once you get close to Branson.

Note the Branson area is hilly and some of the bypass routes off of the main route through town (these routes have color names, red, green, yellow) have some extremely steep hills. In some cases grades of 10% are possible. The two routes I have proposed have some hills but nothing you all should be afraid of. Jack
Thanks, Jack. Good info.

Gene,

As it stands the answer is no. They do not allow fires at the north grounds since the sites are close together. If push came to shove the interested parties could chip in a few bucks to get a spot in the couth grounds that allows fires....wouldn't be that much if there is a space available.

Steve
