Fooooood.. Yuuummm

Alrighty then, we are not coming up with enough people top do a BIG catering job so now we are thinking we will get a nice big family pack from Famouse Dave's Barbecue.

Gary and I will take care of ordering and picking it up...and we'll figure out what everybody will owe later. It won't cost anymore than what we originally thought about the caterer.

The caterer wants at least 30 to 40 people, and it ain't happenin' this
time ;-(

I am looking forward to seeing everybody and camping in October. I think the leaves will have good color :-)

Stay OUT of the brambles and poison oak areas, however :-(

Better late than never.......

Hello to all,

Kristin, John, Jimmy(14) and Anna (2 1/2) will be coming - and will bring a dessert to add for the pot luck. If it is too late to add us on to the barbeque order, we'll just fend for ourselves for food and join you for company. We're really looking forward to finally making another airstream event.

See you all soon,

Kristin

So now you know we're coming, we just have to figure out where we're going! Googled Pecatonica Forest Preserve and see there are a couple of campgrounds.... so which one is the rally at and are there any helpful suggestions as to the best route to take from Rockford or so on (we're starting out in Chicago)?

Thanks,

Kristin

Mapquest

Do a Mapquest from this website.. and remember that Brick School Road turns into Judd Road at a curve. Weird, but true!

I would recommend that every one make sure there propane tanks are full. The weather is going to be chilly. Mid 40's at night, mid 60's in the day.

I love it!!!!!! Put in for a half day Friday so I can get out there befor the traffic jams everywhere.

We'll need PROPANE :-)

GOOD IDEA..

hmmm.. fall weather, cool enough to use the furnace.. and good friends and food and a campfire and my son is coming and maybe some wild turkeys (besides my son ) and coyotes howling and I hope to hear the hoot owl.. plus the leaves are beginning to change :-)

Life is better than good.

Y'all are making it tough on a guy whose a long way from having a "done" trailer.

It's hard to beat the fall fresh air! ...and my four wild turkeys. LOL!

Tedd, other than your youngest and my oldest , I think our kids match-up in age pretty well. Mine are 20, 12, 9, 7 & 7... my oldest won't be along though.

We are looking forward to Sat.

WELL... not to be a wise-acre... BUT.. if you want a "done" trailer, don't dismantle it :-)

It seems counter-intuitive but I have to keep telling myself... the more pieces I remove the closer I am to having it put back together. Huh?

Vintage trailers. They're never done. +
Gonna pull the GT out from beside the garage tonight and see if I can fix the water heater gas leak.
I'm planning on getting out there Thursday about 3:00 and setting up. Sue is leaving after work and is hoping to arrive before dark.

See Ya,
Tom.
