We would like to join in the fun and deadlines help action occur! I have a lot of stuff yet to do to this thing to make it roadworthy, but I am making progress. In addition to the regular RV systems, I have some driveline concerns.

I recently bought this 1979 AS Excella 24 footer that had been in a farmer's field for 12 years. PO started cleanup until his new wife suggested he pay more attention to her after only 3 months. Not sure how long that marriage will last...

I have or will replace the alternator, battery isolator, carpet, 2 tires, sway bar bushings, vinyl flooring, brake master cylinder, stove, sink and counter top, plus chasing down various leaks, leaky water pump, etc. Have not even tried the furnace or catalytic heaters yet.

I will check with the boss and see what she says!

Unfortunately I can't rally -- I live full time in my Ambassador and the driveway's too mushy right now to hook it up. But I'm hoping either to pop up to the rally or to meet some people through this group in the Lane County area. Partly because I'd like to meet other 'streamers and partly because I'm also a journalist and I'm writing a story about Airstreams (who knew the second largest Airstream dealer was in Eugene??) and I'd love to meet some people in the area who'd be interested in being in an upcoming article.

you can get me via email at camilla@eugeneweekly.com so as not to clutter up this discussion.

thanks and looking forward to meeting people!

Camilla

I put a request into Ft stevens to open "I" loop to reservations. I will let everyone know how that turns out.

Well Thanks! Wow!

But please do not open 'I' loop just for me... I just got a PM on a cancellation. So I will be moving into the L loop. More details to come.

OK here is the deal, "I" Loop , located next to H loop is a full hookup loop. It has for many years been first come first serve in the off season and I couldn't get that changed.

However if folks show up Thursday night or early Friday before 4pm there is a very good shot at setting up in that loop. Also If you made reservations already in a site way across the park you can transfer upon arrival. Just find the site you want in "I" loop and drop a card in the HJ box letting them know where you moved to. Just and FYI the restroom in H loop is only a restroom (no hot showers) "I" loop has the big shower building with the heated floors. I also could not get a reservation in H either , so I will be just showing up early and camping in "I" loop Likley Thursday night some time.
