Hello everyone!

Looks like lots of "cabin fever" types here in this thread! Should be a great rally! Don and I signed up with a "maybe".... we are going to have to pass on this one, hate to ever pass up on camping! Just too many "irons" in the fire right now. Take lots of pictures and post them, please so we can "come along" in virtual reality!

Claudia, I'm sorry to hear that we won't get to see you and Don at Ft. Stevens. Hope all is going well with you and you bet that we'll take lots of pics so you can come along in spirit.

Bummer that you won't be there. Gary just unwinterized today and I am very excited about a change of scenery. We'll be there sometime late afternoon on thursday and I have a new corkscrew that won't rust or mildew

I am ready to go! Well, as soon as I retrieve our trailer from the home show.

Question: does anyone have a reese straightline/dual cam hitch on their rig? If so I'd like to get a look at it while we're at the get-together.

You actually let a corkscrew sit long enough to rust/mildew ??

Trailer still winterized. However, I am home now. I am going to shoot from the hip and de-winterize at the rally. I haven't been in there since early December. If I need anything I'll get it down there. Basically I am going to hitch it up and drive down there on Friday and hope everything still works.

If you bought a box wine, you wouldn't need a corkscrew. Plus you wouldn't worry too much if you lost it - the corkscrew - that is. See you soon

Here is some info I dug up for the area. Pretty interesting stuff.

Astoria - Warrenton Chamber of Commerce

Peter Iredale Shipwreck

Battery Russell

Fort Stevens

Some of it might already be posted on here someplace else.

If I bought wine is a box, I'd need a bigger trailer to hold all my new 'friends'

Chris - just show up... we'll keep you alive till you can unwinterize.

Just toss some nonessential "stuff". An another selling point is the box won't break.

General Question. For the potlucks, do you try to plan on the total number of person expected to attend? Or just make something that will serve several people? 10-12, 16-20?? Would one make one cake? for 27 trailers, or 2??? Thought being that there will be plenty for all with one cake & other contributions.

Using cake as an example.... make one - someone else will probably bring a pie and someone else may bring cookies. There is always enough food.
