Deer Creek sounds like a possibility too. I am making a list! And YES we do need to keep this going!! If you have looked at the map of members lately you know there are many many members in Ohio that have yet to speak up and join us here!!!

Maybe you can make a daytrip and meet us if the AS is not roadworthy!

She's a jewel and tow worthy I'm just very particular - the tires need to be replaced first. I'd like to see your Airstream - if at all possible a day trip would be on the agenda...

Looks like we had better come prepared for the rains! They keep changing the forcast for how much. Maybe we can get the potluck in between showers. We are planning on bringing a screen tent, but it is not waterproof. Wish we had checked to see if there was a pavilion we could use. Any idea?

Well, unfortunatly I've ran into more problems that really concern me. Work has caught up with me, and I haven't been able to get the lights rigged up. I did get the belly pan buttoned up, but still have work to do.

So, there is no way I'm gonna make it down Friday. If I get up early Sat., I probably can get the cable built and arrive in the afternoon. I understand I can't check-in till 2 anyways.

I guess sometimes you just need to step back, slow down, and do things the safe way! I'll be there Sat. with or without the trailer.

TGIF! We are really looking forward to getting to the campground and seeing some more AS Ohioans! We will be arriving right after lunch if we can get our packing done early enough. See you there!!

We are looking forward to getting there too!!! Unfortunately The wife and I both have to work today.

The AS is ready, and the trip there is 2 hrs. so our ETA is around 8pm. Hope we have good weather this weekend! --dave

After the day I had yesterday, I think I'm coming regardless if I'm ready or not!

Please take pity on me. I have no idea what really works or doesn't on this trailer. I'm trying to make sure nothing falls off on the way. I'm coming with tools,rags, buckets, and rivets. And a fire extinguisher. And beer.

I like to go primitave camping. I'm considering this one step above that, but not much!

Yesterday was hard for me. I sold my boat that I had for 16 years. It was a 27 foot skiffcraft flybridge. This boat was alot like an airstream. It is built by craftsman to a high degree of quality, and has a very good reputation with those who are familure with them. My father (now deceased) and I used to work on it together. It was hard to see it pull away.

Special thanks to Loudruff! Your encouragement & help with the wiring pushed me over the edge on whether to come or not this weekend.

Hi, Glad to see some Airstreamer's getting together from OH. Sorry I missed this get together. I haven't taken mine out all summer. I've been thinking of taking a trip to Pennwood. Anyone out there interested?

I just now caught this thread. I grew up near Jackson Center and my wife grew up in Lyndhurst...we now live in Kenton. My wife and I would love to get together with fellow Airstreamers.

We just got back home from an excellent weekend out with other Ohio Airstreamers. We had lot of fun sitting under awnings and around campfires..and WAYYY too much good food. A great time! It was great fun meeting ctdair, streamin 65, Danb, and blucloud. Clare-Mar was a little wet, but it did not slow us all down much. We are working with Fritzie and Dave who live closer to the center of Ohio to find a spot that we can meet again. I think Dave will post some dates and places on a poll when he gets the time.

Let's all do it again!! Some of the rest of you folks from OH come on and join us!!!

We saw on here that there is a plan afoot for a get together at East Harbor SP for the first weekend in Oct. Anyone else going??
There are still a few weekends left in Sept. and Oct. that should be good!
