Yep, we like all of those ideas! We have some Halloween stuff that would make good decorations for the rally. Are you going to trick or treat?? We are bringing a pumpkin pie for this weekend. And Larry has a jug of sweet apple cider too.

Since the days are getting shorter having the pot-luck before 6 PM would provide more daylight and give a little time to digest before possibly doing camp pies (Blue or black berry) in the fire.

The theme I was asking about concerned the pot-luck. Mexican, Italian etc…etc.. If it’s an open pot-luck I can bring green beans and ham with red potatoes and onions, or a chicken based item.

Eating a little earlier is always fine with us too. Guess this is an open pot luck as nobody has come up with a food theme. It will be easier to cook on the fire for those that are doing dutch ovens etc. I am bringing the ingredients for both a chicken/vegetable dish, and a pork loin that can be done. We can always use a veggie side dish too. I think I will whip up some cole slaw tomorrow morning before we take off. I have a pumpkin pie, and Larry has rounded up some cider. I am bringing dinner rolls as well. I am sure we will have lots of good stuff to eat. We will be down there sometime in the afternoon if all goes well.

Let us know if this is working. Alum Creek is wifi ready. We have arrived at Alum Creek and have secured some sites. We are on site K16. They have let us have the playground loop with sites K8,K12, K14, K18 secured til tomorrow afternoon, and there are a couple in R that back up to our circle. R3 and R5 are walk thru that back up to us. This loop offered the longest and most level sites that were close together. Mention to the host at the desk that you are with the Airstream group. LOL...like they won't know from the trailer!! Kay's family (hosts) had an Airstream and will enjoy meeting all of you. We will check back in to here in a little while to see if anyone has received this message!!! Signal here is very weak..but it is working!!!

Hi Larry and Lou,
Jean and I are off to Niagara falls tomorrow for the last camping weekend of the year. I am going for a drift dive in the Niagara River on Saturday and Jean will be doing a half marathon walk on Sunday. Envious of you guys since you are out in your trailer already. Looks like a nice park. The only one open in the Falls is a KOA but we will make do.

Wow! Larry is practically green with envy. You are camping AND diving!! Very cool!!!
We wish you were here...or we were there! Have a great dive and tell Jean good luck for us. Keep us posted on how well she does...we know she will do great and have a good time too.
So far tonight we don't have any other Airstreamers here. We hope that some of them brave the rain. We expect most of them tomorrow night and they say that the weather will clear. We hope.

The campfire is stoked and we are getting ready to begin the first feast of the weekend. Hope some more of you can make it. There are a lots of campsites left just for you!! Come and join in the fun!!! Nice crisp fall night for sitting around snuggling by the campfire...and Sue says she is making hot spiced apple cider for the crowd! Yum!

Blucloud, Streamin65, tbaugh, botto, loudruff...all that signed up have arrived safe and sound. Safarinight stopped in for a visit today and will visit us a second time tomorrow for the potluck. Anyone else care to visit for the potluck?? Even if you aren't camping you can come and enjoy the campfire with all of us.
Tomorrow is supposed to be a clear and warmer day and we are hoping for some more fun and good food around the campfire. Tonight we all brought good food to the campfire and had an "impromptu" potluck! Tomorrow is the real potluck and we are planning a big feast!

And tomorrow we are hoping to add some more pictures!!

We had a great time at the potluck. No two dishes were the same! Very yummy!
